A slice of heaven
The cottage at Circular Bay is a perfect place to find peace, joy, and tranquility on Waiheke Island. The biggest challenge was deciding weather to paddle board, sit in the hot tub, recline in a bean bag chair overlooking the bay, watch and listen to the multiple birds, walk the beach, or fall asleep in the shade. Perfect in every way. The property is so beautiful with all the amenities we could have needed for a great escape. Thank you so much to Mudbrick Properties for taking such good care of us. We loved every minute.

Secluded Beauty
This is a fantastic spot if you're after seclusion and privacy. The house is clean, warm, tastefully decorated and has everything you need, but still has the comfortable feeling of a beach house. The sunsets, views and outlook are spectacular. We had a great time and would definitely go back. The only thing to be aware of is that the two upstairs bedrooms are very close to each other and don't have doors (so lack privacy) and the ceiling on one of them is quite low (we banged our heads a couple of times). Otherwise, this is a magical spot and the perfect place to escape the world and unwind. Highly recommended!

Circular Bay Cottage
We were so excited to stay at this property. The location is incredible. Unfortunately the cottage was a little underwhelming. For the price paid per night, our expectations were high.
What we expected was a considered, highly thoughtful interior and guest experience. The interior was relatively clean but lacked finesse. The decor was minimal with zero styling. No room felt complete.
The bathroom/laundry needs a revamp considering it is supposed to service 6 plus guests. Thankfully there were only 3 of us.
For such a beautiful cottage, the garden is completely neglected. The only form of planting is a row of dead lavender which was littered with empty beer bottles and rubbish.
Some scaffolding was left down the side of the house, which we could see looking out from our bedroom window.
After coming directly from another property that was half the price of this cottage, utterly faultless and overwhelming beautiful (12/10), it was pretty disappointing.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime rental. Large beach house with a private beach on the Pacific Ocean. Nicest place we have EVER stayed (outrageously expensive, fancy hotels included). Hosts were very communicatative, accomodating and responsive. Everything about the place, including the welcoming vibe of the host, is FIRST CLASS.I'll probably regret saying this, because it may make it so popular it will make it difficult for me to rent again, but if this pops up on your search, DON'T THINK TWICE--BOOK IT IMMEDIATELY!

Magic location
Had a fantastic time and magic location. Comfy beds etc. Definitely pleased we bought a 4WD. There were SUPS that looked like they could be used by guests (not locked) - would have bought wetsuits if we had known. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all!

Long weekend away
We needed a romantic getaway, we arrived here on a Friday and left on the Monday, and well we didn’t want the leave, the property is really nice with amazing views, and the winery just up the road was super convenient. Needless to say we will likely be coming back to this one

Amazing position
View and position of Bach outstanding but disappointed in some aspects of the Bach especially considering the nightly price tag. In our opinion the spa and grounds around the side ofthe Bach needs more maintenance. There were old beach toys and basketballs littered around the side of the Bach by the spa. With the spa we were unable to get the spa hot enough for night swims. This may have been our lack of spa knowledge but there were no spa instructions in the Bach. There were no curtains on front lounge windows which made it impossible to sit in the lounge in the afternoon or early evening as there was no shade from the sun or glare. There was no radio in the Bach and the clock on the wall didn’t work. Windows very hard to open and need cleaning. We did enjoy the tranquility of the property but in our opinion more maintenance and more attention to detail is needed.

A wonderful, clean magical place
A wonderful, clean magical place. We arrived with our clear directions from Jackie/Hannah and were greeted with a lovely bottle of bubbles from Mudbrick Winery, beautiful clean spaces with all the amenities and a glorious view of a private beach from our accomodation. Comfortable beds, warm spa, clean linen and even a lollie jar to treat ourselves with. Can't wait to visit again - what a beautiful experience.
