Private cottage, 4 minutes to berry. Pets by arrangement. couples and kids

Heron cottage is newly renovated set-in lush gardens. The living room has a kitchenette with fridge, toaster, microwave/ convection oven and induction hotplate Nespresso coffee, a large tea selection and lots of essential pantry items.
The Living room has a dining table and chairs, oversized bean bag (great for the little ones) and large smart TV.
The pull-out sofa bed is very comfy (doesn't have any nasty springs)
The bedroom has a king-sized bed with two bed side tables, large French inspired armoire, big enough to store cases and clothes and an antique dressing table.
The bathroom has an oversized shower with bench seat and an antique vanity with designer backsplash.
The outdoor space has two covered porches facing north and the garden. There is a BB-cue and outside dinning furniture.
you are welcome to use our pool
wander our whole property pick from our veggie patch and pat the horses.
we have Penwood Miniature Railway next door which runs on the first Sunday of the month which is also when the berry markets
are running. Berry has lots of unique shops and cafes.
we are located just ten minutes to Gerroa beach and forty minutes away from Jervis Bay
If you have young children, they will love the freedom to run and play soccer, interact with the animals and enjoy picking their own salad greens or whatever we have in season.
Your Hosts Andrew and Tess have lived in the area for forty years and will be able to help you discover this beautiful part of the south coast.

We had the most wonderful weekend staying here! Tess is an incredible host, so generous and thoughtful. She stocked the fridge for us, welcomed us warmly, and even introduced us to the lambs and horses (with carrots to feed them, which was such a highlight!).The swimming pool was amazing and the cottage itself was absolutely adorable….cosy, beautifully kept, and just perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything about the stay felt special and well cared for.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you, Tess, for such a memorable weekend!

We couldn’t have picked a better spot for a few days away as a family! Tess and Andy are the loveliest hosts and Heron Cottage was a home away from home for us. From feeding the horses and exploring the gardens, to the friendly faces who greeted us, as well as being a stylish and comfortable cottage and close to Berry, our stay left us wanting to stay longer. We’ll be back!

My family and I stayed after a wedding in Berry. The host was extremely accommodating and friendly. The accommodation itself was in a great location just outside of Berry (only a small drive in). The cottage was perfectly set up decked out with breakfast food and snacks for our stay. Would recommend staying here if you're looking for accomodation in Berry.

Amazing

Andrew and Tess were very generous hosts. The cottage was very comfortable, fully equipped and kindly stocked with lots of local produce. The garden was glorious. All the family including puppy, had a wonderful time. Location is perfect being close to Berry and beaches. We enjoyed meeting daisy the cow, moo the cat, Taff horse and Quenie the pony. Thank-you Andrew and Tess for a wonderful long weekend.

Heron Cottage is an absolute haven! We were warmly welcomed by Tess and Andy, who are the most incredibly accommodating hosts. Our stay was so enjoyable, we didn't want to leave. Blessed with brilliant weather, we took advantage of the pool and relaxing drives through the countryside to nearby towns and lunching near the river at Kangaroo Valley. The gardens on the property are spectacular, and the cottage is of a very high standard of comfort and luxury. Tess and Andy are gracious and extremely generous hosts - you will want for nothing during your stay. A night in after a big event the night before was heavenly as we enjoyed some goodies from the basket provided, before enjoying a great pizza for dinner from nearby Berry in front of the telly. Personal highlights for us were the resident horses, adorable little lambs, yellow tailed black cockatoos and a family of ducks - as well as the absolute peace and tranquillity of the place. We'd go back in a heartbeat. So blessed to have found this gem in Jaspers.

Tess was great with the pre arrival information and gave us some really good tips on the best way to drive. We were met at the property by the wonderful Andrew who was more than helpful and gave us a run down of the cottage and took us on a quick tour of the property.The cottage was beautiful with great amenities and they provided a really nice hamper. There was nothing that we needed and the cottage is in great quiet area, but close to the surrounding beaches and Berry.

we are surrounded by natural beauty and feel very lucky to have so much green space to enjoy.
watching the horses while we swim in the pool, hearing the parrots in the flowering gum, having our own veggies and bees all help to increase our wellbeing and we love living here.
