Wow--wonderful place with incredible views!!

We stayed at the Kaimai Range Country Getaway for two nights, and our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer!Communication with Joanne was fantastic from the time that we first booked it until we left. She always answered any messages quickly. We received very complete, easy-to-understand information about checking in and the cottage. The cottage was easy to find using Joanne's directions and google maps, and we were free to check-in anytime after 3:00 (15:00). The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and was extremely clean.The cottage is lovely with two bedrooms, a full kitchen (with everything you could possibly need to cook), and a bath with a shower and a washing machine. The bath is connected to both the kitchen area and the master bedroom. There is a large deck with amazing views of mountains and the sea in the distance, as well as their own land of rolling hills. There are two outside soaking tubs, which we used both evenings (Joanne and Warwick had provided both bath salts and bubble bath) and the view of the stars from the soaking tubs is amazing!! Joanne and Warwick had left snacks for us upon our arrival--so kind and so appreciated. The avocados were amazing!The location is great for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula and close enough to several restaurants and grocery stores.If you are looking for a fantastic vacation rental with amazing views on the Coromandel Peninsula and great hosts, look no further!

" A HIDDEN WONDERLAND!!! "

So beautiful & serene. The views so majestic & peaceful, to the birdlife & sounds of crickets at night & cicadas by day. The bathtubs (Indescribable!!!) to just lay there and just be on a starry night to quieten one's mind from of everyday life. Warwick & Joanne were the perfect hosts. To so many personal touches that just made us feel so special to wine, chocolates, fresh eggs, crackers & camembert cheese & one cannot forget the beautiful avocados & jars of pickle & relish. A place so heavenly. The decor & design absolutely beautifully thought out, the bedrooms at opposing ends, ideal for those with a small group, & couples. It truly has been a stay that is imprinted in our hearts & mind forever. So, thank you to Warwick & Joanne for providing a place for people to enjoy your beautiful property. It truly is a beautiful place in Wonderland. Paul & Ange.

Absolute Perfection

We loved everything about our stay, peaceful and beautiful with nature at our doorstep. Everything was just perfect from the stunning views to the outdoor soaker tubs to the welcome gifts to the impeccable hospitality. We just can't recommend the cottage enough when you are looking for a serene spot away from the hustle and bustle. Treat yourself to this incredible holiday getaway.

Wonderful views, comfortable and relaxing

The views are stunning and even on the first day when we had rain we were able to enjoy the outside and didn't care when in the baths. The accommodation is nearer to the main house than expected but we had no noise or concerns about privacy. We'd initially considered inviting another couple to join us for a night but glad they couldn't make it as the bathroom is off the master and we enjoy our own space. The location is definitely outstanding, even when it's windy it didn't seem to impact us. Comfy beds, plenty of blankets, wonderful snacks. Loved it.

Rest and Relaxation Hideaway

Look no further, this is the best place for some rest and relaxation, you get spoilt with treats and outdoor baths. Our second visit. Safe and private too if you are travelling on your own.

Paradise found

A piece of paradise in our beautiful country. Wonderful views from every vantage point of this immaculately presented cottage. Lovely hosts with Joanne's attention to detail faultless. After 5 nights stay we didn't want to leave and are already planning our return.

Paradise

We have stayed in lots of Book a Bach properties in this area and this would be the best yet. Stunning views with a lovely covered deck to sit on no matter the weather. The bach has absolutely everything you need including a lovely laundry space. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and we had ample goodies to enjoy while we were there. Such a treat!

Fantastic property with an amazing outlook over the hills and sea. Very quiet and an absolutely amazing outdoor sitting with 180 degree views. Great host who goes the extra mile to make one feel right at home with lovely goodies and surprises. Would definite visit again.

Fantastic for a retreat

My daughter and I had an amazing relaxing stay, spoilt with treats and loved the view and animals close by. So very well set up and clean. We will love to return. I highly recommend Kaimai Range Country Getaway.

New Zealand Country Stay

We traveled all over the north island and staying in Katikati was the best decision we made. We adventured everyday and it was so nice to come back to the quiet hillside and enjoy the view, sweet sounds of birds and animals. The sun rise in the morning was breathtaking. The house has all you need to make meals and feel at home. The snacks that were left hit the spot every time. We plan to come back again in the summer months so we can use the outdoor bath tubs and do some star gazing.

Highly Recommend

First off, the hosts made us feel very welcome both personally and with all the details that we really appreciated in the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views were the best, anywhere you were inside or out. The bedroom had a magnificent view of the distant city lights. The outside tubs and the robes that were supplied made that a fun addition. Oh, and the lambs that were just born in the field, that was pretty special too. Highly recommend!

Belated honeymoon in paradise

Joanne and Warwick are the most gracious hosts and were beyond accommadating. The cottage itself was gorgeous, well appointed, and spotless. The little treats they left for us made us feel so welcome and helped us relax after a flight across the world. My only regret is we couldnt stay longer! It was a dream of a vacation, we are so appreciative for the chance to stay with them. From the very bottom of our heart, thankyou Joanne and Warwick.

The property was amazing , a long with the baths and the goodies that they left for us on arrival. Quick and east communication a long with a lovely late check out which we both appreciated. One of the most beautiful places to chill and unwind , we will definitely be back.
