Beautiful Place!

A clean, spacious and close to the beach bach - awesome to spend time away. Such a beautiful home, the pictures dont do it justice! It has everything you need for time away. Haley was awesome to deal with.

Quiet getaway with plenty of room

Great communication with Haley. Peaceful getaway next to beautiful beach. Great to have kayaks, pool table and gym!! Be prepared with food etc as nearest shop a long way but a lovely quiet restful place with a great deck for hanging out.

Big space, relaxing vibe beach house

Lots of space for our multi family group.The master bedroom is beautiful!Lots of areas to chill out and relax in without being ontop of each other all the time! It was great having the kids sleep downstairs with their own space and bathroom, and all the adults in the 3 upstairs bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen, the only thing we wanted for was a garlic crusher!There’s also a bench outside for fish prep if you’re lucky enough to catch some!Dog friendly with sofas outside and it’s a fenced property. We would stay again. Many thanks for sharing your lovely bach.

Kaikarau Beach stay

There is only 2 bathrooms not 3. House wasn't the cleanest when we arrived sand under beds, flies behind couches. Toilet seat upstairs could really do with replacing. It's very loud if you sleep downstairs visitors had a hard time sleeping down there. The bathroom down stairs smells like pee. There's a random dog that shows up daily and urinates everywhere and on everything. The wicker outdoor setting is very fragile and would suggest not sitting on it. For how much we paid we don't think it was worth it.

7 Mananui , Kairakau Beach

We really appreciated the close vicinity of this property to the water, both the estuary and the sea. The upstairs bedrooms were very comfortable and for the most part two of the bedrooms despite having a double and bunks, worked reasonably well. The main bedroom was lovely and spacious. The kitchen and living area were well supplied and we appreciated having access to good cutlery and crockery etc. While the house offers downstairs sleeping arrangements with additional bathroom, this area does not have any curtains and is directly beneath the lounge and kitchen area. Any movement above was very audible below making this a very unpleasant sleep area, if people above were still moving around. If this area had some sound insulation, it would meet the needs of an additional sleep area. Espite this chalkenge, it so presented as Lovely place. Meet our needs and good communication was provided Just a note that the listing states 7 Mangakuri Beach , Kairakau, which caused some initial confusion, as Mangakuri is slightly further down the coast. I do believe it should read 7 Mananui , kairakau Beach.

With this bach and beach you can't not enjoy your stay

This is an awesome batch, it is clean well set up, the owner is very good to communicate with, and the deck area is fantastic. Kairaka beach is fantastic for young kids.

Our summer Bach holiday

We enjoyed our stay. The upstairs deck, outdoor furniture and games for our kids (pool, badminton, fussball) were fantastic and our kids loved the bulls in the paddock next to us! Haley was prompt in responding to any queries we had. We’d stay here again.

Relaxation and Comfort

A large property with space for everyone. Amazing wrap around deck with lots of outdoor seating and eating options. 1 minute to the beach. Haley and her parents (who live around the corner) very good to deal with.

Awesome location

Great Bach for a holiday. Had everything he we needed! Only thing that was frustrating was all the bunk beds are SUPER squeaky and noisy (also mattresses not so great) so when the room is full of kids and adults sleeping, it is almost unbearable! Otherwise highly rate! Hayley also promptly answered out enquires.

Nice surprise to have portacot,highchair,stroller and childrens sports equipment and dvds.Childproof gates on decks also.Open plan living and wrap around deck great socialling area for the 7 adults we had.Plenty of space.

Space and comfort

Our forestry guys stayed at Kairakau for two weeks. Haley was easy to deal with and very accomodating. Clean and tidy plenty of space to spread out and relax after a long day at work.

Awesome place

Loved our time there. Everything was spot on couldn't fault anything. Just one thing we didn't have the remote for the aircon unit and we just needed to take the chill out in the mornings as it's still a bit chilly in September. But that's fine other heating we found and used. Thank you was awesome.
