The Farmhouse Retreat

Renovated farmhouse nestled on 4 acres and surrounded by majestic trees. This 1,919 square foot home has been totally renovated but kept the country charm. It is an ideal destination! The Farmhouse Retreat offers privacy and peacefulness. Enjoy the in ground pool with privacy fence. It is a great place to relax after an A&M football game, a day of shopping in Downtown Bryan or just enjoying the traditions of Aggieland. Enjoy a game of cornhole or washers outdoors and watch the wildlife. Cozy living room with flat screen TV, well-appointed kitchen with everything you need to whip up a home cooked meal. Gas grill and patio seating overlooking the yard. Enjoy Smore's over the gas fire pit. Nights are great for star gazing! Central air and heat, full size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, cards, poker chips and dominoes, WiFi. Please note that home sleeps 6 comfortably in beds. There is a single roll away and a twin fold out chair as well. NO PETS ALLOWED. NO EVENTS OR LARGE GATHERINGS ALLOWED. Must be at least 25 years old to book. No smoking in home. Please follow all pool rules. No diving, no glass containers, in or around pool, no food in pool and swim at your own risk. Children are not allowed to swim alone.

Great place to stay to experience Texas for the first time.

We had a wonderful action packed stay in Texas. Great location for a country experience but close enough to town for dining and shopping. We would come back again for sure.

We visited for Youth Football Camp and had a great time! The house was clean, the pool was DEEP, and the beds were comfy. We would definitely stay again!

Vacation Trip

Excellent all way around. Only issue was the heat, but that's Texas in July, lol. Had a small issue with the ac, but it was quickly fixed. We would stay there again if we can.

Farmhouse Fun!

We had a great time! The kids really enjoyed the pool and the games! The property manager was great to work with. She always responded quickly and was very accommodating. The house is equipped with everything you need. We will definitely be going back!

We had to evacuate our home for hurricane Laura. After deciding on where to go, I found this gem! Off the beaten path, plenty of room inside and out and a pool! Close enough to town to make grocery runs. Great communication with the property manager! Thanks for your help, Sheri!

Great out of the way pool house

We loved the secluded house with the private pool. The only negatives were some wasps by the pool and we couldn’t get the YouTubeTV to log in with the information provided. It was a great time away with family. We will be back!

Peace and quiet

Property was beautiful. Saw some deer and rabbits. The pool was great. Easy access to eateries and grocery stores. Excellent place!

The perfect country getaway

My husband, 5 year old twin boys and I had a wonderful stay here for Spring Break! We were looking for a place in the county to get away and this house was perfect. There was a small family of rabbits living in the nearby woods and we would watch for them every morning and evening. The house was very clean and fully stocked with board games. Unfortunately it was a little too cold for us to enjoy the swimming pool, but we did spend a few afternoons with our feet in the water. The house was also very close to the Aggieland Safari Zoo, which I would highly recommend!

A hidden little gem

This property was exactly what we needed, a hidden little gem. Home is warm and inviting, as soon as you walk in you feel at home. The pool was great! We had some shattered rain showers but we still were able to enjoy the pool and while it was raining we played board games that were supplied by the owners. The owners of this property have thought of everything you could possibly need. We will definitely go back.

Relaxing & Socially Distant

We really enjoyed the farmhouse retreat. It was just far enough, but close to various commodities. We spent most of our time in the pool. So much so, that we never made it to the Aggieland Safari zoo. Kids loved that it had WiFi and Netflix.

Johnny and Marilyn enjoy the outdoors and have a working cattle ranch not too far from this house. Johnny grew up out there and we love the area. We raise Black Angus cattle, have a few horses a donkey and two dogs. Needless to say, we love our pets!!! Johnny is also a contractor and Marilyn is a Realtor. We love helping people reach their dreams of home ownership. We are very active in our community and church.

My husband grew up across from this home on a dairy farm. He always loved it and has many childhood memories of playing over there. We always loved this house and said if we ever had the opportunity to purchase it we would. Well God blessed us with the opportunity and we went for it! We remodeled it and brought everything to code but still kept the farmhouse charm.

If you love a country setting then this is it! Very secluded and surrounded by oak trees. A great place to unwind. Close enough to town so you can enjoy all Bryan/College Station has to offer.
