The Space:
Your holiday home is located in a very convenient quiet residential area, seven minutes drive from Queenstown centre, but just far enough away to avoid the noise, hustle and bustle of our busy tourist town. The house is on two floors with conecting staircase. The property has four bedrooms upstairs.. The interior of the house has just been completely renovated and lovingly crafted to provide a realxing and comfortable feel, with modern finishes throughout including high-end appliances. You will get to enjoy executive living with a well-appointed main kitchen, large dinning area and spacious lounge with wood burner and huge floor to ceiling windows providing excellent viewss toward the lake and mountains. Upstairs a full family bathroom, with seperate shower cubical and large bath takes care of the family, whilst the master bedroom enjoys its own full onsuite located off the bedroom and having a shower. The whole house is well lit and the lounge is furnished with a comfortable sofa and an outstanding wood burning fire to enjoy those evenings in, with a seperate electric heat pump and large SMART flat screen TV to ensure everyone is happy. All bedroomsa will be fitted with commercial hotel quality linen during your stay and all towels are provided including body wash, shampoo and conditioner. To add to your convenience there's a washing machine and high-end dryer. Our refurbishment focused on ensuring quality, ease of use and asking ourselves the question, does it enhance experience! Our guiding principle has been to help relax, rejuvenate and invigorate the soul.

Guest Access:
We aim to create an environment where you and your family can enjoy all the comforts of home. Please feel free to use everything that is within the property and make yourself at home - Our house is your house. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic essential items you will need to cook meals during your stay. We fully prepare the house prior to all new guest arrivals, providing you with fresh, clean linen and towels. If you believe you may require additional cleaning services during your stay, please arrange this prior to arrival, so we can advise you in advance of any additional charges involved.

The Neighborhood:
Fernhill is a residential area with amazing wide views overlooking lake Wakatipu. Elevated from lake level, it offers incredible scenary and amazing scenic walks. (Great photo opportunities). A local grocery/liquor store, good family restaurant and bar, fish & chip shop are all within 3 minutes. A children's outdoor public playground are less than 8 minutes away, offers possibly some of the best panoramic views from any playground!

Getting Around:
Plenty of space on the driveway for several vehicles. If not utilising a car, It is just an 8-minute ride into central Queenstown by local bus. Alternatively, a taxi is a very cost-effective way to travel locally, we recommend "Queenstown Taxi" company. "Uber" is very cost effective and efficient, our own experience is very positive!

Interaction with Guests:
When we travel sometimes we want to be social, sometimes we do not. Similarly, sometimes we want advice and sometimes we like to discover things ourselves. With this in mind, we like to make arrangements with each guest to ascertain needs or desires. We will likely arrange to greet you on the first day of your arrival, this is to ensure you have everything you need and understand how things work in the house. We will answer any questions you may have and when we know a little more about your visit, likes, and dislikes, offer some friendly tips and ideas for your stay! Ofourse, if you'd rather no contact during your stay, we can coordinate that with you as well.
