Most of the year KOKO Savusavu's elevated location enjoys refreshing sea breezes all around the villa and for the more hot & humid nights, the villa is equipped with air-conditioning. (Please note. I need to replace ceiling fans with non metal blades fans from overseas due custom made alumiumium blades messing up the motors. Currently only one ceiling fan is working)

Our island style villa has a beautiful romantic curtained teak carved 4 poster king in the bedroom area that is partitioned from the main space by an antique teak door that creates a gorgeous large feature wall.

The villa features indoor-outdoor living with 5 large lounge and dining decks and sun patio - all accessible from the villas interior.

The interior living area has comfortable couches with free Wi-Fi, a Flat smart screen TV with a Netflix subscription.

The uniquely styled kitchen area, with a large island counter top and bar stools, is set up nicely with kitchenware for those wishing to self cater. Enjoy cooking to an amazing view of Savusavu bay and Nawi Island from the kitchen windows.

The villa has a separate dressing room area leading to a rest room and a shower room with an incredible view.

Dining at KOKO Savusavu is an intimate and memorable experience. Using seasonal local produce and recipes inspired by Fiji’s tropical culture, our menu focuses on fresh & fragrant cuisine. Especially made for you, beautiful breakfasts and dinners are prepared by your personnel chef in a separate kitchen area and may be enjoyed on the decks or inside the villa.

Available from 8.30 - 10.30am, delicious breakfasts can be pre-booked so you can sit back and remain completely hands-off cooking in the mornings.

Sunset dining can be pre-booked from our KOKO menu. Lovingly prepared on site, dinner (starter, main, dessert and tea/coffee) is served from 5.00pm in time for, hopefully, a spectacular Savusavu sunset.

The massage can be set up on the pool patio, under the deck balcony or inside the villa followed by fresh KOKO tea.

You have 3 tables to choose form and if you would like to set yourself up more comfortably for work, let us know and we can provide a comfortable office swivel style chair that can be set up at the bedside table with a double power point.

To keep the villa comfortable and running as smooth as possible during your stay, we include daily housekeeping anytime between 10am and 2pm to suit your schedule. And you are opting for the chef service, this fits in nicely with your breakfasts.

RAINWATER
KOKO villa runs on 100% rainwater harvesting. We request guests be mindful of this precious natural resource. When water is low during the dry season we may experience lower water pressure.

ELECTRICITY
The villa runs in Energy Fiji Ltd power that is a diesel generator for the whole of the Savusavu area. Please accept Fiji is a developing country and the occasional scheduled or unscheduled power outages may occur in our location at Naveria Heights, it’s super rare but it can happen, such as scheduled generator repair or unscheduled when a coconut tree falls on power lines or . For various reasons, we do not store a backup generator as we do not have onsite staff to manage it.

GUEST ACCESS
As the only guests, you will enjoy full access to our completely private 3.4 acre property with exclusive use of the villa, infinity swimming pool and grounds.

It is important to note:

MOUNTAIN ROAD
The main mountain road and our driveway to the villa requires a confident driver. It is not for the faint hearted. It is a graded gravel road, steep in parts and only suited for 4WD (4 wheel drive). It is easy to hire a 4WD vehicle or book 4WD Taxi's in advance and we provide contact numbers for guests. A local company also offer KOKO guests a special day rate. Most guests opt for hiring a car for freedom to explore all the hidden adventure gems for themselves, which i help you find :)

KOKO MAX the dog
Proudly adopted MAX, a highly intelligent and well-trained German Shepherd who now calls our 3.5-acre villa grounds his home. Max was unable to be bred due to a tumour, but we rescued him and ensured he received the care he needed.

His super chilled and friendly nature has quickly made him a favourite among our guests and enhancing a restful night’s sleep amidst the natural surroundings of the villa. As part of this introduction to KOKO we have created Bahamas style gates to the decking entry steps and MAX has been trained not to enter the guests deck or villa. Both our duty manager and gardener looks after all of MAX’s daily needs.

ADVENTURE
Savusavu, on Fiji 2nd largest island Vanua Levu, is known as 'The Hidden Paradise' of Fiji and is heaven for adventure water lovers. From the rainforest to the reef there are many activities to venture in and around Savusavu.

Enjoy lush tropical hiking trails with expansive views easily accessed from the villa. Take day adventures to secluded waterfalls, a beach lagoon and deserted beaches. Book adventures with local guides for SUP (stand up paddling) in the bay or down lazy rivers and mangrove trails. Kayak and snorkel pristine waters. Go off the beaten track to a hot mud pool and salt lake. Take deep sea fishing excursions. Dive some of Fiji’s most infamous sites like Namena Barrier Reef, Dreamhouse, Rainbow Reef. Dungeons & Dragons. Go on surf adventurers in summer at the Great Sea Reef. Explore Savusavu’s extraordinary Fiji Pearl farms, home to the world’s rarest pearls. For pure relaxation you can easily book a massage on KOKO's deck. We can provide lots of activity info and contacts upon booking.
For guests who choose to hire a 4WD vehicle to explore, our staff can also help explain the Fijian ways and direct you to certain activity spots like snorkelling, waterfalls, mud pools, swimming, picnic beach spots and the best handling fishing spots, etc.
