Enjoy New England's coastline while you stay in this sparkling condition, fully updated home with coastal decor in a private beach community.  This home is perfectly located for exploring the coastline or sunbathing at the beautiful, private sandy beach.

This adorable beach home offers easy access to beaches, the quaint Niantic Boardwalk with lots of great restaurants, shopping, ice cream shops and more.  Easy access to other popular coastal spots including Mystic Seaport and Casinos.
Giants Neck Heights Private beach: 3/4 mile
Niantic Village: 3 miles
Essex: 12 miles
Mystic: 20 miles
Mohegan Sun Casino: 18 miles
Westbrook Outlets: 13 miles

You can enter Rocky Neck State Park from the same entryway as Giants Neck Heights private beach. Rocky Neck offers 7 miles of diverse walking trails, fishing and picnic areas.

PET POLICY: Small non or low shedding dogs up to 35 pounds are allowed. Pet fee is $150. We strictly adhere to this policy - when booking with a pet(s) please indicate the size and breed of your furry friend.

INDOOR LIVING:

Bedroom 2: Trundle bed with 2 twin mattresses

Living Room & Kitchen: Adorable living room with sectional couch that opens to a bright and sunny remodeled kitchen. Updated bath with washer/dryer combination. Kitchen is fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, dishware and flatware.

OUTDOOR LIVING:
The home offers a backyard with a patio, table, chairs, umbrella, gas grill & fire pit.  The beach community offers a community playground with basketball and tennis court, playscape and bocce lanes. This is a great area to kayak & enjoy walks along the coastline.  There is also a boat launch. It is shallow at low tide, and skiffs will need to return by about mid-tide. Kayaks can get in at any low tide except around king tides. For anytime boat access there is 4 Mile River Boat Launch which is 3.3 miles away, or Niantic Bay Boat Launch which is 5.1 miles away.

GENERAL:
Linens/towels, hairdryer, keyless entry, washer/dryer combination.  Parking pass and beach turnaround pass for the private beach are included. Please note that the walk to the beach is downhill and the walk back is uphill. The house is located in a hilly neighborhood.

This cottage was so charming. It was in a very safe neighborhood and was within driving distance of everything we wanted to do in the area. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Cozy Cottage is aptly named.

This cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you might need for an enjoyable stay in East Lyme, Connecticut. The kitchen is furnished with everything we needed to cook and serve our family for the week we stayed there. Firewood was provided for an outdoor fire pit. Private beach access a delight!

Lovely cottage and beach experience

Communication was super clear. We were supposed to arrive the day before Hurricane Ida and the owners recommended we postpone our trip until after the hurricane, which we VERY much appreciated. Once we got there, we were greeted with an impeccable little cottage, 2 minute drive to the private beach, super easy and exactly what we were looking for. Great getaway.

Clean and cute beach house

Our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much. We were there for a week to visit family and friends. The only thing we really missed was daily current news as they had no basic channels. Overall very good!

Very clean and nicely updated

The house is small but nicely laid out and looks recently remodeled. Many extras provided that I wasn’t expecting like coffee and tea, ice packs in the freezer and wood for the backyard fire pit. Might be a little tight for a family of four. Big hill on walk from beach but comes with parking pass. Owner was quick to respond to questions.

Perfect cottage for our family

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, incredibly well-stocked, and the beds were so comfortable! We all enjoyed the neighborhood beach as well. We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is a gem!

We adored staying at this super clean bright, light, beautifully decorated cottage with lots of modern amenities. We were greeted with a lovely hand written welcome card and a box of pastries from a local bakery as well as a variety of teas. The host did not spare any expenses with top of the line appliances and lots of little details that really make the difference in a rental - for example, tons of varieties of soaps, cleaning products, scented candles, and tons of extra towels, linens, and pillows, and even firewood for the fire pit in the backyard. You can tell how well cared for this property is and how much the host wants their guests to enjoy it. The area is perfect for exploring the CT beaches, Mystic seaport, restaurants, and all the other attractions area has to offer - we especially liked the spacious and well kept private beach that we were able to enjoy as part of the homeowners community. We would absolutely rent this lovely cottage again!
