This is what happens when you listen to your father in law who’s always trying to save money no matter the discomfort. Oh sure, it was cheaper than many properties in the area but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. Pros: checkin process was easy, house is centrally located in North PortCons: just about anything relating to cleanliness. Right away when we walked in, several areas were not cleaned or vacuumed. The en-suite bathroom was littered with dead fruit flies. Many of the bedrooms had piles of dust bunnies underneath the beds. All the linens were dusty as well. They had spare sheets, but they were so incredibly musty that we had to wash everythingIssues extended to the kitchen as well. Dishes appeared like they haven’t been used for a while. Tried to use the toaster and the musty smell was overpowering and ruined the foodAs for the pool, it was completely green the first day. Someone must have come by at some point because it did start to clear up. But, no heater. So we never got to use it. We tried contacting the property manager, but all we received were AI generated responses that “we’re working on it!” (Spoiler alert, they were not). We’ve stayed in North Port multiple times and usually rent from owner managers. This time was from a property company and I will say with confidence: NOT doing that again!Overall, there are a lot of great properties in North Port, and we’ve stayed at many of them. Avoid the headache and stay away from this one.
