Wonderful spacious house fully supplied with everything you need. Beautiful views and a get deck and hot tub. Close to the awesome Skaha beach and other parts of Penticton. We had 3 kids 2 - 6 and they loved it. Mary Ellen was great and easy to reach. Would love to go again!

This perfectly appointed house was great for our family as we visited to participate in Ironman Canada. Plenty of space, everything you need in the kitchen. Very helpful and communicative owner!

Home Away From Home

Pictures don’t do justice to this stunning private retreat. It was perfect for a multigenerational family reunion. The games room was a hit and there was something for everyone. The large kitchen was bright and well equipped.we were greeted and oriented by our hosts who were in constant but non intrusive contact-just checking in to confirm we didn’t need anything. Highly recommended!

Our stay was fantastic. The house was clean with lots of room and supplies. It is a bit dated but felt very homey. Great location as well!

Spacious, clean and comfortable!

Skaha Lake retreat was the perfect getaway for our family of 14, which included four grandkids. The entertainment kitchen was perfect for the family gathering along with double doors out to the outside patio, hot tub, loungers, and barbecue area. Plenty of parking made it a breeze for our family along with a great concrete area for kids to ride their bikes. Spacious bedrooms and large play room for the kids made our little getaway a breeze. Mary-Ellen was a very gracious host, welcoming us and being very responsive when we had questions during our stay. The house was also located on a very quiet street and only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to returning soon!

Beautiful property and location

The house is very clean and well-kept, despite being a little dated. Master Ensuite shower, with 4 different water nozzles, should probably have an instruction sheet for operation, as it was tough to figure out. Otherwise, zero complaints, we'd rent the property again in the future!

Awesome Location

This property is located in the Okanagan and close to wineries and other attractions. The view is spectacular, the facility is clean and spacious and very comfortable. The property manager was east to deal with and helpful.

Spacious property with breath taking views!

We are a group of family and friends who frequently rent and stay at places around the province. This was one of the best stocked properties we have stayed in, as they really thought of everything. Spacious layout and breath taking views ensured a comfortable and happy trip for all.

Another great Stay

This was our second time at this Skaha Lake property and again we enjoyed our stay. Check in with Mary-Ellen was a breeze. Lots of space is a great feature as are the hot tub and beautiful view of the lake from the large deck. With the summer heat he A/C over all works well through the day although the upper level was a a bit stuffy at night. A great central location with easy access to many amenities. Thanks again for a great stay!

Summer space for 12

Our family of 12 enjoyed our stay at this property. The spacious house is very nice and with plenty of room for all. More shade would be nice for the late afternoon/dinner hour. The house, located high on a hill, was indeed across the street from the lake, but not nearly as close or convenient as we believed it would be. A far superior beach area was located with a 10-15 minute drive. Some excellent local wineries were found very close. Guests will need to be comfortable with taxidermy as it is absolutely everywhere throughout the house.....in fact, one might say òverkill!

Great family get together

We had lots of room for meals and for sitting around. It was nice to have two separate sitting area. TV in one room and our duplo blocks in the other. It was too hot to sit on deck in afternoon. Bedrooms were great except the air conditioning didn’t work particularly well in the downstairs bedroom. It was great in all the other bedrooms.

Quiet getaway

Everything was great only thing I would say is the AC system was not that great you would cook if it was the peak of summer and we did leave the doors and windows closed. Heating and cooling is what I do a bigger unit outside should be considered

Guys’ Weekend at Skaha Lake

The house was exactly what we needed for a group of 11! The kitchen and barbecue were fantastic, the games room was well set up for a night in, and the hot tub was perfect. All of the rooms were spacious and comfortable and all but one had an ensuite. All in all, it was the perfect place for a weekend away. If you are planning to head in to Penticton and don’t want to drive yourselves, just be aware that it is a bit of a cab ride to get there ($40-$50), but it’s very doable on occasion. Would highly recommend the property for anyone who wants a bit more indoor and outdoor space set apart from the neighbours!

The property was stunning and very clean, with a great view. The property managers were very communicative and adaptable to our plans as our flight was delayed, postponing our checkin time. It was a lovely stay!

Perfect for a large group

We had a fantastic experience here. The place was perfect for a group of friends and had all the room to do various activities and keep everyone entertained. Very private location, and not too far from downtown Penticton. Beautiful view. Would come back in a heartbeat.
