Come stay the night in this private cabin over looking the Brasdor lakes. This little family -friendly cabin is the perfect place to come relax, have a fire on the this 2 acre property and star gaze with zero light pollution, or come sit in the gazebo in the morning to enjoy your morning Espresso with a view.
First bedroom has 1 queen bed + a dresser and large closet
Second bedroom has 2 twin bed, plus large closet.
Full serviced kitchen with all utensils
Just bring your food, and suitcase and enjoy!

The house was very well located in the heart of Bras d'Or. The house was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We greatly appreciated the tranquility of the location and the view of Bras d'Or.

Cute 2 bedroom cabin. Saw deer each day in the yard. Private with distant views of the lake and close to main road. Clean, has all the kitchen supplies you need. Coffee drinkers, bring Keurig pods.

The host of this VRBO rental has literally thought of everything down to the very last detail. The place was spotless and super cold when we arrived. We had to turn the air conditioning down, but that was totally ok. We used the blue tooth speaker that was provided to play some music and the sound was fantastic! The beds were very comfortable. The only thing I could have wished for was that the gazebo screen curtains were functional because it was a bit buggy outside. The view, however, is totally amazing.

A lovely cabin, nicely decorated with a forest/wildlife design. Very clean and in a great area.The kitchen is well equipped. There was a BBQ available also.The living room was comfortable, with rocker/recliners, sofa, TV and a log burner. Very comfortable.Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. A good selection of cosmetics, and even some toothbrushes in case someone forgot theirs. Very thoughtful especially as the nearest stores are a fair distance away.Very quiet surroundings with well maintained grounds and a lovely view of the lake. The bedrooms have a lovely countryside design. Comfortable beds and lots of space for clothes. Lots of nice things to do nearby. About 1.5 hours from the Highlands Park and Cabot Trail. Well worth a visit. There is also a list of local recommendations on the fridge.Its been a lovely stay!

Lovely quiet setting with view

Great location for experiencing Bras d’Or Lake area. Husband and son did charter deep sea fishing from Stanley, 30 min. away. Many thoughtful touches. Host was very helpful and communicative. Good for getting away from it all.

Lisa & Patrick made our stay exceptional with their ease of communication and personal touches. The cabin is clean, cute & comfortable with good access to the many attractions surrounding. It could use a window air conditioner to use at night during extreme heat, but overall we had a great experience and Lisa was very quick to respond to questions and feeback. Highly recommend!

I have never given someone "excellent" before, but there is nothing less I can put for this cabin in Boisdale. It exceeded all my expectations! Lisa is a great host, answering all my questions prior to the visit. We were not greeted by large files of dos and don'ts, but with useful information on where to find the remotes, suggestions of places to visit, and invitations to call Lisa; all dotted about the cabin, and backed by inspirational signs on the walls. Lisa phoned once, halfway through the visit, to see how we were. I loved the artwork, the cabin's interior decoration and special dishes we could have used if we wanted to be elegant! The hot water, soaps, towels, bedding and so on were plentiful, clean, fresh and pleasant to use. The TV had everything we needed for viewing when the mosquitoes drove us inside. Every evening we had a different sunset to hold us in awe. Cape Breton is so beautiful with its wildflowers, birds, fish, rocks and waters. We were constantly admiring the beautifully coloured homes we passed, and the white churches, with their spires and cemeteries, especially held our attention. Unfortunately, the deer in Lisa's photos did not materialize. However, the motorways were fun to drive, and people we met were so friendly, we want to experience more.I am 88 years old, and managed well with a walker, both inside and out.The visit was far too short. Yet, even so, the aura of the cabin made me feel renewed, as stress dropped away.
