The Barn At Four Oaks (15 mins from Lakepoint)

A fabulous barn that is a hybrid between post & beam and timber framed massive structure. The living quarters upstairs is "studio" style but is a massive 736 square feet (16'X46'). Full bathroom with stunning "mother of pearl" inlaid shower. A full kitchen with sink, stove, microwave, ice maker, and under-counter fridge. The bedroom area is separated by beautiful tapestry type curtains. One queen bed and 2 full size couches. Very convenient to Lakepoint Sports Park (15 minutes away). Owner may access a shop building that is adjacent to the barn during your stay. There is an open staircase and upstairs has half walls that overlook downstairs. Could be dangerous for smaller children. The downstairs barn doors are NOT to be opened by overnight guests - these doors are for events only. Mowing & general landscape/property management task may be done during your stay between 9am & 5pm. 20 acres of land requires a lot of upkeep. We try to do it when the property is vacant but that is not always possible. If the sound of a mower or tractor for a few hours would bother you, this may not be the property for you. Video security cameras in use outside of the Barn.

Great space!

This was a gorgeous & unique property! Everything is decorated perfectly, the furniture was super comfortable & the huge tv made for a great movie night. The property isn't far from town but feels very much away from it all. We only used the overnight space but the event space would be perfect as well! We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Refresh your soul

This property and host are amazing. Everything was just perfect and clean. Walking trails to enjoy all the property has to offer. Groomed lawn areas. Very very well maintained. This was a perfect choice for us.

I didn't want to leave!

The Barn was our stop over for a long roadtrip. I didnt want to leave this precious place! It was spotless, comfy, cozy, and Jody was amazing with my nonsense :) We also arrived around 1 or 2 am to a beautifully lit front gate and the Barn was all lit up for us too. We'll definitely be back!!

Memorial Weekend Getaway

Arriving around 9PM and pulling into a beautifully lit up home. The house is gorgeous! Great entertaining area on the first level. Then you go upstairs to a very nice living space. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. The hosts responded quickly to my questions even late in the evening.

Beautiful and Spacious!

Living area upstairs was classy, yet comfy. Beautiful wood, tasteful decorations and plenty of space. Lots of kind details (coffeemaker, snacks, etc). There's only a small fridge without a freezer, but icemaker was nice touch. Nicely connected w/ technology and large TV. Lots of activities nearby, we enjoyed the lake and hiking with the dogs. Overall excellent stay and super nice owners!

A very wonderful couple only surpassed by their sweet an well behaved dogs. They honestly left our place better & cleaner than they found it. I hope they come back and stay again!

Great alternative to a hotel

We were in GA for a baseball tournament at Lake Point. This place is only 15-20 minutes from the ball fields. Way more comfortable than a hotel. Very cool design and decor. The baseball didn’t work out so great for our team and this place was probably the highlight of our trip. Jody, the owner was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. If your headed to Lake Point for ball, look no further, this is your spot.

Simply Spectacular

Four Oaks was exactly what we needed! As soon as I found this barn on VRBO, it was calling our name! Simply spectacular! The decorations did not disappoint. So much detail throughout especially the beautifully lit barn at night! We hiked, played corn hole, relaxed under the stars, and soaked up some much needed family time. We made some great memories at Red Top Mountain, watched some baseball at Lake Point Sports, and had Johnny’s New York Style Pizza (x2) So good! Thanks for opening up your fabulous place for others to enjoy.

A Lovely Stay

We rented this property to stay in while we visited my In-Laws for Christmas. The property was a 25-35 minute drive to Canton. It’s located in a secluded, safe area. We really enjoyed our time away from the hustle and bustle of South Florida and were happy with our stay. We brought our Lab puppy who loved sniffing the trails around the property. The home was also a nice place for our kids and dog to run around at. The bottom floor is open and available for games and other activities. The second floor is just as described in the photos but even lovelier in person. The loft area was perfect for our teens to sleep in at night. The property is on well water but they provide distilled water for the ice maker and the Keurig machine. Check-in and out was a breeze and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. If you are looking to get out of the city and enjoy the quiet, I highly recommend this property! We hope to visit again soon.

Usually if i leave great review or awful review I am very detailed to help people. All i will say about the Four Oaks Barn is.....THIS IS A SPECIAL PLACE and Jody and his family are very special people. It's a weekend basketball tournament trip my daughter and I will remember forever.

A gorgeous getaway with all the amenities

This is such a gorgeous country chic getaway. The decor was amazing and every detail was seen through. We have stayed at many places and by far this getaway felt so comfortable but had everything you would need for comforts. A lot of detail was put into this barn stay.

Everything advertised and more!

Jody and Sheila could not have been more accommodating! We found this property while looking for a last-minute fall getaway from the Florida heat. While I was initially hesitant that the property was not in the heart of "stuff," this wound up being a tremendous advantage-- a beautiful place to stay that provided privacy and nature all around us, while still a short drive from all we wanted to see and experience! Jody patiently answered all my questions as to the best way to find the "full fall experience," and he and his wife greeted us with a smile when we arrived. The barn could not be more charming- modern farmhouse chic with romantic rustic touches. Beautiful decor- both new and antique, and did I mention the privacy? They graciously stocked the barn with drinks and snacks, and we took advantage of the grill out back and made almost all our meals in-house. While we did not have a full size fridge, the smaller size unit, along with the countertop pellet ice machine worked just fine for us. We had plenty of counter space to work with, and lovely dishes to prep and serve upon. We even made s'mores over the fire pit one night! Be sure to spend some time walking the trails on the property. We saw some great wildlife and it was virtually impossible to get lost. We were able to bring our long-haired mini dachshund, Henna, with us, and she was in doggie smell heaven! Oh, and stars upon stars upon stars in the clear October skies with no light pollution...simply gorgeous. Thank you thank you thank you, Jody and Sheila, for the beautiful accommodations. Everyone that I've showed pictures to had the same reaction: "WOW! Where is this place? I need to go there! " Cheers!

Gorgeous barn!

We loved the barn and it was absolutely gorgeous. It was hard to find in the dark and VRBO messed up the notification to the owner that we’d be staying, but the owners responded to my texts immediately & directed me to the property and coached us through the gate and door.

Favorite rental yet

I was looking for somewhere to celebrate my 45th that was unique, rural, yet accessible to town and Red Top Mountain State Park. This property gave me all that and more! I have rented a lot of properties off VRBO, Airbnb and HomeAway..this by far was my favorite! Jody and Sheila were amazing host's! They not only were readily available, but provided so many recommendations for the area. The Barn... STUNNING! They thought of everything when designing this beautiful place. They had all you need available, everything was cozy, comfortable and convenient..yet far enough away to feel secluded. Red Top Mountain State Park was on my agenda, but so much more to do in the area. If you want "Glamping"..check, Hiking..check, Lakes..check, Historic adorable downtown..check. I also heard there is a "Shooting Golf type range" nearby, that will be another visit. I honestly can't say enough about this place, other than a definite must to visit!
