Sunnycove homestay is located at the center of the city , Shibei district. It is one of the oldest quarters in Qingdao where you could get the most authentic local experience. It is close to railway station, metro station and a few bus stops if you don’t drive, and it has a spacious car parking area if you drive.
1. 10 mins walk from “Qingdao central hospital” metro station.
2. 5 mins walk from ”Siliunanlu kaipinglu” bus stops.
3. 15 mins drive from Qingdao North Railway station.
4. One hour metro from Qingdao Jiaodong International airport.
If you wish to travel through public transportation, This is the perfect place to stay!

Sunnycove homestay is situated at the corner of 5th floor of a modern condominium , where you will not be disturbed by the noise from corridor or lift , the windows are facing quiet residential area with no traffic noise, the room itself is equipped with air-conditioner with windshield , pillow with spinal support which makes it suitable for light sleepers.

Supermarket, Gym, café, cinema, restaurants, 24 hours KTV, 24 hours convenience store, 24 hours Billard board are within 2 mins of walk in the same block.
There is a huge shopping mall nearby, called Vanke Mall, where you could spend a few days without getting bored inside!

Born and raised in Qingdao, I spent the first two decades of my life in the city that shaped my roots. Yet, like many young souls yearning for adventure, I was drawn by the call of the unknown. With a heart full of wanderlust, I moved to Singapore to study, and after graduation, I embarked on a career in finance, working as a statutory auditor and controller for over a decade.
My time in Singapore spanned 15 years, during which I had the privilege of traveling across Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and most parts of Asia—each journey filling me with excitement and a deep sense of being alive.
After years abroad and heavily influenced by Western media, I was reluctant to return to China originally. My memories of Qingdao were frozen in time, from over 15 years ago. But when I stepped off the plane, I was greeted by a city that was almost unrecognizable. There were eight subway lines where there had once been none. My childhood home was gone, replaced by a modern building, and the entire city felt transformed. Even the remote attractions I had once considered difficult to access were now easily reachable by metro.
As I rediscovered my hometown, I was struck by the wealth of treasures it holds—stunning natural landscapes, breathtaking views, affordable prices, an abundance of delicious food, a rich cultural heritage, and an infrastructure that makes everything so accessible. It truly is a dream destination for any free-spirited traveler. I felt compelled to share this with you, and so I opened a small homestay in Qingdao, hoping to offer a glimpse of its wonders.
