Black Bach in Hahei is the perfect place to get away for a couple or small family. Nestled among the trees with amazing views out over the water you may never want to leave!
The bach is set over two levels. On the lower level, guests will find the laundry, head up the external stairs to where all the main living areas are. The bach has two bedrooms. The master has a king bed and wonderful views of the water and the small islands just off the coast. Bedroom two has two king single beds that can be zipped together if desired. The bathroom has a shower, basin, and toilet.
The open-plan living is spacious and bright. There is a fireplace, for those colder months which makes Black Bach perfect for stays at any time of the year. The kitchen although small has everything you need for your stay, including a Nespresso machine, so feel free to bring your favourite pod flavours and enjoy your morning coffee in the comfortable lounge with couches, and a flat-screen Smart TV, or at the dining table which has seating for four. Of course, you could always head through the ranch slider outside onto the deck, where you will have stunning views of the water. With an outdoor table and chairs and a BBQ, enjoy your meals al fresco while looking out over the bay.
There is plenty of car parking or bring the boat. However as there is no boat ramp in Hahei, you will need to launch at Cooks Beach to make the most of what Mercury Bay has to offer. Pets are welcome by request only.

Hahei is a popular village on the Coromandel with an amazing beach and wonderful eateries. Access to world-renowned Cathedral Cove is from the village it is around a 40-minute walk to the Cove if conditions allow. You can kayak or hop on the water taxi to take you around from Hahei beach. You are also a stone’s throw away from Hot Water Beach. This is a beautiful beach where at low tide you can dig a hole and find the HOT water, spades can be hired from the local store.
