Cosy Country Getaway Bungadoo is a self-contained, private, one-bedroom, airconditioned stay that is ideal for those who want to stay in a rural setting among the gum trees and wildlife. It has a full kitchen, lounge room, and combined bathroom/laundry with a shower, toilet, washing machine, and dryer. Towels and linen are provided. There is a comfortable patio area to catch the afternoon breeze and take in the rural view. Say hi to Brownie and Utah, the Dexter cows wandering in the paddock while enjoying your morning coffee (coffee and tea supplied).

It's easy to relax here, there's no noise, no traffic and no streetlights. This is a real country experience where you can unwind and do as little or as much as you like in a private space surrounded by lovely frangipani and palm gardens, native gum trees and native animals. You may spot kangaroos, lizards and native birds in the surrounds. We have echidnas hiding here, too! At night our million-star view will not disappoint, there is no artificial light to disturb your view of the Southern Cross.

We are located only 15 minutes from the small town of Gin Gin, which is on the Bruce highway. Everything you need is in Gin Gin such as IGA, bottle shop, cafe's, chemist, Hospital, butcher, and the famous Gin Gin Bakery to cater for your needs. There is a lively Saturday market, and there are quite a few places to fish close by.

We are also only 35 minutes to the Regional City of Bundaberg, famed for its Bundy Rum Distillery, Bundy Belle Cruises, Alexandra Park Zoo, Bert Hinkler House and Botanic Gardens, to name a few. And we are less than an hour to some of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast of Australia, and the southern entry to the Great Barrier Reef and as such, we are a great home base for all of your day trips.
