We call this abode Lyell in honour of the magnificent Mount Lyell which is in full view from the living room. Lyell captures the essence of Queenstown: an old Mt Lyell Mining cottage from the 1950s now renovated for your comfort while retaining the old mining town character.

High quality percale sheets, a choice of pillow size and texture, heated bathroom floor, real leather arm chairs, air conditioning, well appointed kitchenette, great views.

The bathroom has push-button floor heating, the mirror has anti-fog when turned on.

The bedroom has a heater, electric blanket and an extra doona so you should never feel cold at night.

The living room has air conditioning to cool in summer and warm in winter - you will always be comfortable.

We believe that cleanliness is very important. So we employ professionals to do a really good job. They wash all the sheets, doona and pillow covers and towels every time. They vacuum and dust thoroughly. They clean and sanitise the whole bathroom. They get paid full Award rates, including extra on weekends and holidays. It's not cheap, but it's worth it
