We designed and built our cabin to be a luxury getaway for ourselves and are now sharing it with other like-minded travelers seeking an escape surrounded by nature.

The inviting living area features a comfortable couch, warming fireplace for cozy winter evenings and days, thoughtful window seats perfect for reading, dining table along with an assortment of authentic New Zealand sheepskins for ultimate comfort. The full kitchen comes equipped with a dishwasher and all necessary kitchenware, including essential wine glasses.
Rest peacefully in the king-size bed dressed with fresh linens, and enjoy the modern bathroom complete with shower, bathtub, and heated towel rail for added luxury. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure your comfort.

Outdoor Living
Expansive decks with comfortable outdoor furniture extend your living space into nature. The highlight for guests is our spa bath with instant hot water—perfect for stargazing in the clear night sky away from city lights.

Local Conveniences
While we recommend bringing your own supplies for a hassle-free stay, groceries are available in nearby Turangi supermarket which is 20 minutes away. A local pizza café , Floating Rock, is within walking distance open Thursday to Sunday. A small local shop is reopening soon for emergency supplies.

We've created this space as our own personal retreat and are delighted to share it with guests who appreciate thoughtful design and the tranquility of being close to nature - bush, river and lake.

Note our property is at end of no exit quiet road with neighbors on both sides and a reserve along the front for direct access to walking trails and views across bush and river. Being close to nature there maybe bugs and other wildlife - ie rabbits that pay visits.
