Tucked at the rear of a tranquil Mudgee property, this pet-friendly retreat offers a lush escape with a private entrance and peaceful garden surrounds. Start your morning in the open-plan living area—sink into the sofa, put on your favourite Netflix series, and ease into the day.

The compact yet well-equipped kitchen features an oven, dishwasher, and coffee machine to elevate your daily ritual. Enjoy your meals at the timber table or dine alfresco in the leafy courtyard with the BBQ sizzling nearby. Later, unwind in the Balinese-inspired outdoor bath, framed by bamboo and greenery, with a glass of local Cabernet Sauvignon in hand. As the sun sets, stretch out on a sun lounger with a book or gather around the fire pit beneath a sky full of stars.

Come bedtime, retreat to the serene king bedroom dressed in soft linens. The adjoining bathroom and private washer make this space ideal for longer, more comfortable stays. Split-system air conditioning and heating in both the living area and bedroom ensure comfort year-round. Ample off-street parking is available via a double garage and two additional driveway spaces, making arrival easy and convenient.

Firewood is shared with guests in the main house, so availability may vary. While the large shed at the front of the property is not accessible and the main house may be occupied by another group, all outdoor areas listed above are reserved exclusively for your private use. We ask that all guests respect each other’s space and privacy to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone.

Please note that while we welcome pets, the yard is not fully secured, and dogs must not be left unattended at any time.

During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please note, the Guesthouse is also located on the property and may host other guests during your stay. A fence separates the two dwellings, and the Guesthouse has its own private driveway and entrance to ensure your comfort and privacy. Please make yourselves at home!

Red Lotus Retreat is perfectly positioned in a peaceful residential setting, just a four-minute drive from Mudgee’s town centre. On Church Street, you’ll discover a fantastic mix of local cafés and eateries—brunch at Outside the Square or The Dancing Goat, comforting Chinese at Golden Dragon, fresh rolls at Mr Sushi King, and pizza with a pint at Mudgee Brewing Co. Be sure to stop by Three Tails Brewery, a local favourite for slow-cooked brisket and craft beer in a laid-back beer garden. For everyday essentials, both Woolworths and Coles are nearby.
