The lodge has a great sandy beach, with shallow entry, a clean shoreline for swimming, fishing, kayaking, or canoeing. It is perfect for families. Level lot with a lot of room to play. It has lots of wildlife, and wonderful panoramic lake views. It is also very close to the ATV and snowmobile trails. There is a boat launch close by and a fantastic dock for your boat. We also have 2 canoes available for your use.
El Norte Lodge is a piece of art. It features an amazing True North home, beautiful waterfront, and incredible scenery around. It has all the comforts of modern living combined with the charm you will rarely find in any other accommodation. The house has an open concept design, big bedrooms, brand new recreation room, wood stove, and amazing window views. Just renovated rec. room It includes all the city comforts: Air conditioning, Full cellular coverage, Laundry, Tv, DVD, games room (air hockey, table) ....
The property is set on Buckshot Lake, a quiet lake that is part of the North Frontenac Township. The lodge is set among pine trees in the rustic Canadian Shield. Buckshot lake has an elevation of 291 meters above sea level. The perimeter of the lake is 19 kilometers, with the deepest point at about 33 meters. Buckshot Lake supports a cold water fishery, in particular; Lake Trout, Walleye, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. Only 1% of the lakes in Ontario has trout.
If you are looking for something different. A place out completely off the beaten track. With outstanding scenery and the look of the true North, Come for a unique personal experience in the backwoods of Canada
