This home was very clean and very well appointed with lots of amenities in the kitchen and the bathroom. We were very happy with our stay there. My only suggestion is more mirrors in the bedrooms and more towels for the guests.We also had a hard time getting our SUV in the driveway so we opted to park in front of the house which was OK. Overall, I will stay was very good and we would stay there again! Thank you for everything Susanne group.

The host was very accommodating to some requests we made to make us more comfortable. We had some difficulty parking in the driveway because of other cars there and wheeling luggage around air conditioners hanging over the narrow sidewalk. It should be mentioned that this is a below ground level apartment. Nevertheless it was clean and the 3 bedrooms served us well. It was also close to downtown Halifax, but a bit of a shabby neighborhood.

Disappointment

Damp basement suite unexpected.Musty had to constantly empty humidifier.Uncomfortable mattresses.Location in rundown part of town.Someone washing their car in driveway.Very tight driveway for 3 cars.Garbage bags in front yard where I had to park because of other cars in driveway.

Dartmouth adventure

This is a basement apartment. Fairly well equipped.There was a number of ants in the apartment….hopefully the owner will take care of this. The apartment worked for us as we were in and out….they might want to up date the outside as there was garbage around and the grass was quite long.A small issue with the parking as far as the spot, but was addressed by the owner!The own was easy to deal with and wanted to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Great stay

Great spot to stay. Very clean. Comfortable beds. coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, condiments and even some cereal supplied, as well as bathroom supplies of lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Would stay again. Hostess very responsive.

Nicely provisioned, convenient location

The house is really well furnished with just about anything you’d need for a multi day stay. The host has put serious thought into what conveniences you’ll need. All appliances worked well. Beds are very comfortable, nice linens. In a working class neighborhood only a few blocks walk from grocer, coffee shop, small businesses. On a Saturday night there was only a little traffic noise. Would return if ever in the area again.
