Happy Camper scenic getaway

A getaway delight! This cozy 32ft camper provides the perfect scenic home away from home for an overnight stay or even a week-long vacation. Separate elevated queen bedroom provides privacy and the living room sofa pulls down to form a full bed. The spacious kitchen and functional bathroom areas are fully stocked to meet all of your accommodation needs.

Exceptionally clean. Includes all linens, camping and kitchen preparation supplies, and will be set up and ready for your arrival at the campsite.

The site setup is at Rockingham's Edge Farm, our 13 acre farm includes apiary, various produce and crops. The camper is located next to our small pond.

The secluded camping area includes a separate parking area surrounded with agricultural views. Endless Caverns is 1 mile south and boasts a gorgeous cave on Property, nature trails for hiking or biking. All cell phone carriers do provide quality cell phone/4G service at the campsite.

A S'mores gift package will also be waiting for your arrival.

Great location

The location of the camper was beautiful, waking up and seeing the mountains and hearing the cows. Such a peaceful and relaxing stay. Will recommend to my friends.

Great weekend get a way!

My family goes to cut our Christmas tree down every year and we stumbled upon this Happy Camper! They were lovely brought firewood for us made sure we had everything we needed. Camper was clean and had cooking utensils that you would need. We enjoyed having a fire looking at the stars. Great stay!

Relaxing at the camper!

It is very private. Front of camper faces west so beautiful sunset view with fire pit for cooking outdoors. . Pond with many frogs and variety of birds. Plenty of room. Clean linens, towels and great layout. Would definitely go back again! Thank you Joni.

We were definitely happy campers

My husband and I wanted to do something a little different for our 15 year anniversary. Renting the happy camper fit the bill. We truly enjoyed our stay and the area. The camper had everything we needed and was so cute and cozy after a long day exploring. The owners were very responsive to questions and were extremely helpful. The camper is close to Shenandoah. New Market was about 10 minutes away with a few good restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend the Happy Camper

We felt very welcomed and relaxed during our stay. Joni kept us well informed on their specific model with how-to’s, things to keep in mind, and an overall sense of trust & support should we need anything. Originally we had booked their other location but with concerns of a freezing water line, we were given the option to move to the KOA. We were grateful and pleased with the outcome! I do wish we had relied more on the KOA resources as the gray water did fill faster than we realized. Site 5 was so peaceful and we had everything we needed. Most memorable was the *amazing* campfire experience with the gigantic boulders! By far the best setting and exactly what we had hoped for. Thank you again for a great holiday weekend away!

Clean and Quiet Backcountry RV Experience

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this happy camper! The owners were very accommodating and brought us down fire starter and kindling late one night when we were wanting to sit around the fire. The s’mores basket was the perfect touch. You won’t regret staying here. The view of the stars at night was our favorite part!

You'll Love this place and all it has to offer!

Always wanted to stay in an RV away from it all. And it was great! Wish we could do this everyday. Sitting under the lighted awning at night while gazing at the stars by the warmth and glow of the fire pit was simply fantastic. The RV is very roomy with lots of windows, a super comfy queen bed, fully stocked galley kitchen, and lots of room to move around. So many things to do from walking down the country lane, nearby caving, hiking and the famous Skyline Drive. You will be glad to visited Happy Camper!

Joni was very helpful and great to deal with. She responded very quickly to an issue we had. The location to Luray and Shenandoah Park was perfect. We enjoyed our nights sitting by the fire. Though the owner gives you complete privacy, the camper does sit right off their driveway with their house behind you. A little more buffer between the two would have been perfect.

Cute Happy Camper

We really enjoyed our short stay at Happy Camper. We came to the area to hike in nearby Shenandoah National Park. The camper was clean and had everything you would need. Check in/out was very easy and the Owner was very nice. They provided firewood, camp chairs and a s'mores package. The bed was comfy (which is important to me). This was the first time we've rented a camper and it was so fun, we will definitely seek it out again.

Great time

Wonderful experience overall. This was our family's first camping experience. Having 2 kids and a busy work schedule, we needed something easy and this was. Endless Caverns is a very family friendly environment. The cavern tour was fun. The RV was clean and comfortable. The owners answered all our questions throughout the booking process. When we arrived they stopped by to deliver chairs for around the campfire and returned the next day to restock the firewood supply. We very much appreciated the entire experience. We see ourselves booking again in the future.

Perfect alternative getaway!!

Uncertain about staying in a hotel, or want something a little different? CHOOSE HAPPY CAMPER! All set up, roomy, clean, all supplies, COMFY BED (SO important), great water pressure, beautiful, safe and friendly spot, AND a fire pit complete with wood and s’more makings!!! Owners excellent at communicating and making us feel at home. We toured Luray Caverns (WOW), and hiked in Shenandoah National Park! Loved our getaway! You will love Happy Camper!

The perfect camping getaway. Without the camping.

Review My husband and I spent our weekend in the Happy Camper and we loved every minute! The camper has everything you could want or need. The AC and heat both worked great when necessary. There is hot water. A nice big fridge and freezer. The kitchen is huge for such a small space although we didn’t do any cooking. The hosts put out a bundle of firewood and a s’mores package for us so we were set for a couple of fires. The campground is gorgeous and we enjoyed the tour of the caverns on site. There were tons of DVDs provided to use with the TV. We also made use of some of the board games in the camper. Everything was thoughtful and perfect! The camper even smelled amazing!
