Just a stroll from the historic lighthouse and sandy beaches, this freshly renovated 2-bedroom cottage blends timeless charm with modern comfort. Fire up the BBQ, unwind by the firepit, and soak in classic cottage vibes made for beach fun, cozy chats, and unforgettable memories.

Part of the Keepers Cottages, the Wexford can be rented on its own or together with the adjoining Carruthers Cottage for more space.

INSIDE:
As you walk in, you’re greeted by a cozy, open space with vintage cottage charm and updated comforts. Kick off your shoes and sink into the couch while your favorite show streams on the Smart TV. Or grab a board game and challenge your travel buddies to a little friendly competition.

The kitchen is stocked for whatever you’re craving — whether that’s a hearty breakfast before hitting the beach or your go-to pasta after sunset. I’ve made sure it’s easy for you to cook, snack, or sip with ease. The funky retro dining table is one of my favorite touches — perfect for sharing meals or late-night card games.

Pour your coffee and settle into one of the comfy outdoor chairs, where the morning sun wraps around you and the fresh lake breeze clears your mind. If you’ve brought your laptop, it’s a peaceful place to catch up while listening to the birds.

As the day unwinds, the yard becomes your hangout hub. Fire up the BBQ, play a few rounds of darts, or stretch out on the lounger for an afternoon nap. When evening rolls in, gather around the firepit for s’mores, stories, and laughter under the stars. It's the kind of outdoor space that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

A locked gate connects you to the Carruthers Cottage next door — ideal if you want to plan a bigger getaway with friends or extended family.

Parking is limited to 2 vehicles
Max 2 Pets are allowed but must sign separate pet addendum

Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

Note: Guest is required to provide government issued photo id, provide a separate security deposit of $500, and sign a separate cottage rental agreement-including names of all invitees who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25, photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max occupancy at all times is 6, violation will result in removal without refund.

EXPLORE POINT CLARK

There's a slice of heaven tucked away on the shores of Lake Huron. Not many know about it but those that do simply love it. Tiny roads meander through the woods and pass family cottages that are generations old. The landscape blends into Lake Huron and the coast of silky sand plays host to the laughter of children and sandcastles. The historical lighthouse is newly restored and is the shiny diamond on Point Clark. And you can see it from your beach!

⚓ The Story Behind the Name: SS Wexford
Wexford Cottage takes its name from the SS Wexford, a 250-foot steel-hulled freighter built in 1883. On November 9, 1913, during the infamous "White Hurricane"—the deadliest storm in Great Lakes history—the Wexford sank in Lake Huron with all 20 souls aboard, including 18 crew members and 2 passengers. The ship was carrying 96,000 bushels of wheat from Fort William to Goderich when it was overwhelmed by hurricane-force winds and towering waves. For 87 years, the Wexford's final resting place remained a mystery until it was discovered in 2000, sitting upright in 75 feet of water off the coast near Grand Bend. Today, the wreck serves as a poignant reminder of the lake's power and the maritime history that shapes Point Clark's identity.
