Adjoining to one side of our heritage cottage, this accommodation offered is a warm and inviting 2 level annex for up to two people. It is independent from the main cottage, and comprises a large double bedroom with queen bed and adjoining en suite. A pine staircase connects the bedroom with a loft room with seating, a small kitchenette, and stunning mountain views. The accommodation has a modern heat pump that warms the space effectively. Complimentary breakfast items add to the guest experience.
Double doors from the bedroom lead to a patio and the garden.
The cottage is situated on a rural road, and a wonderful local landmark and cafe ' Staveley Store' is walkable from the cottage, as is Sharplin Falls scenic reserve, with various trails through the ancient beech forest. The whole area is very picturesque, and well located for skiing at Mt Hutt, the hot pools in Methven, and the local Staveley outdoor ice rink which is open during the winter months.
A haven for nature lovers, and such a pretty part of Mid Canterbury. One hour 20 minutes drive from Christchurch.
