What our guests don't like about our listing as much:
- No A/C so some rooms can get warm during the summer months.
- The surrounding areas are being developed
- Fence and backyard are not finished yet.
- Steep wooden stairs at the back entrance



You have full and total access to the suite during your stay. Feel free to stream Netflix as much as you like, whip up anything you can dream of in our fully stocked chef's kitchen, or jump in your car/take an Uber WEM or Downtown.

Other things to note
There is keyless entry to our home. Full check in instructions will be shared with you after security deposit has been provided.

We have security cameras installed (main entrance, back door entrance, above garage doors at the back ) for safety of all of our guests. All cameras record to the cloud 24/7, for security purposes.

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

**PLEASE NOTE** - WE DO REQUIRE A $700 REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT TO BE PAID. The refundable security deposit will be refunded after check-out (granted that there is no missing items, damages etc. to our home after your stay).

Please note that profiles with a lower review rating than 4 stars will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation confirms through the system, the reservation may be cancelled. For guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed. This applies for instant bookings too, additional questions may be asked even after the reservation has been confirmed.

This is a really nice property, however, we had some issues. We never received the check-in information that we were supposed to receive two hours before check-in so we were not able to access the property until we were able to contact the host. Once we contacted him, we were in quite quickly. It was obvious that the floors were not as clean as they should have been as there was some debris on the floors. The biggest issue came when we went to go to bed. The sheets were not clean. They had obviously been slept in so we had to wash the bedding before we could go to bed. I contacted the host the next day and provided him with pictures but I was never provided with a satisfactory response. The other big issue was the garbage. When we arrived the garbage bin outside right beside the garage was overflowing and animals were scattering it around every day. The smell was terrible. I spoke to the host twice about this and was told it was registered with the city but obviously no one put out the bin on garbage day probably for quite some time. No one ever came to take care of the mess. When we realized it was garbage day, we put the bin out even though it was not our garbage. There was enough dinnerware for 8 but there was silverware for only 4 people and no ovenware. Other than these issues our stay was okay.

Welcoming host, a stay away from home due to flood. When backyard is developed it will be even better - I’d suggest a walk out deck from back door for people to sit out and enjoy as apposed to a few two by fours for as steps. Make sure to wash the area rug under couch as debris and dirt can build up . Clean the cleaning tools such as shark vacuum filter and brush roll(nobody wants to see other peoples hair all over) as well as mop bucket . Take extra care with washroom vents as they can build dust quickly. It’s hard to reach so use vacuum attachment. Windows need inside and outside cleaning. Don’t forget to throw the mattress cover in the wash along w the bedding and throws . Provide A bottle of Windex for the people that like to clean as they live in the house would be ideal . Extra garbage bags and dishwasher tabs according to length of stay so you don’t run out. Removing slabs of ice on front steps (snow falls off roof and lands on steps) as apposed to just throwing down salt as it can be difficult for people to walk down steps if it’s a slab of ice. Downstairs neighbours live permanently in the basement suite - a couple and a small child and you can hear them downstairs and coming in/out of their side entrance. Take extra care and make sure those surfaces are shining and you should have no problem keeping your premier host status.
