This property really does give our guests the full Lake Effect. With 3 kayaks, an 80 ft dock, and a boat launch just a hop away, guests can enjoy West Twin lake to its full extent. It also sleeps 8 with 2 full bathrooms so the whole family can enjoy the scenery. So come experience the Lake Effect.

Air Conditioning: There is no AC at this location. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom, and one over the dining table.

ATVs: ATVs are not permitted for use on the property.

Animals: Deer, Chipmunks, and Squirrels.

Bathrooms: There are two full baths at this location.
Main: Full bath with walk-in shower
Second: Full bath with shower/tub combo

Beach/Swimming: This property sits on West Twin Lake. The area is grassy up to the lake, and a hard sandy bottom once in the water. The lake itself has a gradual slope into the water, and stays shallow for quite a bit.

Boats: Three kayaks are available for guests from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are 3 standard size orange life jackets available for use.

Cable: This property does not have traditional cable, but does have YouTube TV!

Cell Phone Service: Cell service can be spotty at times, we recommend using WiFi calling if you have any issues.

Dock: There is an 80 ft dock with a seating area! Available Memorial day thru Labor Day.

Drinking Water: This property uses well water. There Brita pitcher in the fridge for guests.

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fireplace: There are two fireplaces at the location. They are currently inactive, and we ask you do not turn them on during your stay.

Fire-pit: Yes! There is a firepit with seating for 8

Fishing: Walleye, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass can be found in West Twin Lake.

Golf: Garland Lodge & Golf Resort: 12 minutes (7 miles)

Heat: Yes! Electric heating system, controlled by room.

Hunting: Hunting is not allowed on the property. Please follow all local and state guidelines if hunting in the area.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I'll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases and bath towels.

Pets: Pets are not allowed at this location.

Privacy: Neighbors are close on one side.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
