We fell in love with this spot because it blends peaceful lakeside living with a rich outfitter heritage. The Navy Cottage sits in the historic Whitefish Lodge community, where anglers once traveled from across North America to fish Lac Heney and the surrounding lakes.
What we enjoy most here is the quiet mornings — coffee on the deck while the mist lifts off the lake, hearing loons call across the water. Afternoons are for fishing, paddling, or simply watching our kids skip rocks by the shore. Evenings bring neighbors together around firepits under a sky full of stars.
It’s a place where the pace slows down, and you can really connect — with nature, with your family, and with the traditions of this special region.
