The home needs a thorough cleaning, new furniture, an exterminator, and repairs. There were spiders and webs in almost every corner of the home that we had to remove and purchase bug spray to kill. Floor boards were loose at the top of the stairs. The living room furniture was minimal, but it was also heavily stained and covered with crumbs so we avoided sitting in the living room altogether. We had to wipe sticky substances and crumbs from the kitchen table, countertops and refrigerator. There is only one television in the home that is located on the main floor, but the batteries were dead in the remote so we had to buy batteries in order to use the television. The floors throughout the home were very dirty so we bought a mop to at least clean the bathroom floors. The sheets were soiled and had hair on them, so we removed all of the bedding entirely and replaced them with new sheets and blankets while we were there. Some of the bedroom furniture is stained and some of the bedside tables were very dirty inside the drawers. We reached out to the host about the condition of the property and there was never an offer to have someone come and clean or to provide any compensation for the condition of the property. This is by far the worst VRBO property that my family has ever stayed in. I wish I could give it zero stars. I would not recommend for anyone to stay at this property.

This is a newer property, but our stay did not meet expectations, future guests should be aware of several issues.A freight train runs day and night. At night, trains passed about every 20 to 30 minutes with repeated three to four horn blasts, causing ongoing sleep disruption. Neighbor noise also began daily around 7:30 a.m. There are no curtains, only blinds, which did not help with light or sound.Safety and access issues were also concerning. On arrival, the entry code worked on the neighboring unit, and I stepped inside before realizing it was the wrong house. The garage door opener did not work, there was no keypad, and the door between the house and garage only had one functioning lock. Using the garage required parking, unlocking the door, opening the garage, then returning to the car, which felt unsafe. The interior steps were damaged, and slipping occurred multiple times.Cleanliness was below standard. The home appeared only surface cleaned. HVAC vents were heavily dust laden, & showers were dirty on arrival. A member of our party experienced issues consistent with dust mite exposure.There were also maintenance and supply gaps, including cigarettes & lighter left on top of the water heater, insufficient paper products for a 10 day stay, a refrigerator filter needing replacement.Due to noise, safety and cleanliness concerns I would caution guests, especially those sensitive to noise or traveling with family.
