The listing said I was renting a whole house -The garage was closed off and setup as a separate rental and a master bedroom & bathroom in the back of the house were closed off to the rest of the house I was renting and setup as a separate rental where they used the backyard of the house I rented as the entrance into the “other” rental. The listing claimed there was a long term rental on-site in a separate unit - when it was in fact, actually part of the same house, doors from my part of the rental were locked so we couldn’t get into those rooms. There was also a tent setup in the backyard that someone was sleeping in - yet they told me I was still able to use the backyard. It was completely uncomfortable, I expected to rent a whole house for myself, my husband & my elderly parents. I was not comfortable leaving my parents in the house if I or my husband didn’t stay with them not knowing who else was on the property. The listing says it sleeps 10 people, yet there were only 5 chairs for the dining table. There were 3 stools for a small kitchen island, which were a bit too tall for the table, but it’s all there was so that’s what we used, still not enough for 10. Not enough silverware, mugs, etc. drawers with utensils looked like junk drawers with random items in them, nothing neat or organized. Listing said had a dishwasher, washing machine & dryer - had none of them! Toilet tank not attached properly so wobbled when you sat on it. It was awful and we had nowhere else to go!
