Ranked 3★ in the official Étoiles de France ranking, L'Alizé is an air-conditioned, warm and carefully equipped gîte, located in Sainte-Soulle, at the gates of La Rochelle.

Adjoining our house, the accommodation has its independent entrance, its terrace and its garden entirely private. We live on site and remain available when you need us, while ensuring that your peace and privacy are preserved throughout your stay.

Modular housing from 37 to 50 m²

In its main configuration, L'Alizé offers a surface area of approximately 37 m² and comprises:

a fully equipped kitchen;
a dining area;
a living room with a corner sofa that can be converted for two people;
a cosy sleeping area with a double bed of 140 × 200 cm;
a shower room;
a large storage cupboard;
a large screen HD TV;
Air conditioning for optimal comfort in all seasons.

For bookings of 4 travellers, a second bedroom with its own private bathroom is available. The total surface area of the accommodation then increases to approximately 50 m², which allows everyone to enjoy more space and privacy.

Bed linen and towels are provided for the main sleeping area. For the second bedroom, you can bring your own linen or choose the linen option offered at a rate of €13.

For a booking of 3 people wishing to use both rooms, the second room can also be opened with an extra charge of €15 per night, for a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Everything is designed to travel light

We have designed L'Alizé to make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

You will find:

a kitchen equipped with fridge, hob, oven, microwave and utensils;
a Senseo coffee machine;
a kettle and the necessary equipment to prepare your meals;
a welcome kit with shampoo and shower gel;
the necessities for families with babies, including a cot and a high chair;
plenty of storage space;
a large screen television;
air conditioning.

The corner sofa easily converts into a bed for two people. The main bed has very good quality bedding to guarantee you comfortable nights.

Fully private garden and terrace

You enjoy a private outdoor space of about 80 m², separated from ours by plants to preserve your calm.

The 15 m² furnished terrace includes:

a table and chairs for outdoor dining;
garden furniture under the pergola;
a barbecue;
two deckchairs to enjoy the sun;
a pleasant and flowery garden.

It is a real little cocoon to have breakfast outside, share a meal or simply relax after a day of discovery.

A swimming pool shared only with your guests

The pool is on our side of the property. It is accessible to guests and shared only with us, your hosts, when weather conditions and temperatures permit.

It is therefore not a shared communal swimming pool with several dwellings: you only share it with the owners present on site.

An ideal location to discover La Rochelle and its surroundings

The Alizé is located in a quiet environment, while remaining close to the main tourist sites:

about 8 km from the entrance to La Rochelle;
about 11 km from La Rochelle train station;
about 14 km from the Old Port by car.

You can easily discover La Rochelle, the Old Port, the beaches, the island of Ré, Rochefort, Châtelaillon-Plage and the many villages of Charente-Maritime.

Breakfast available on weekends

On Saturdays and Sundays, we can bring you breakfast between 9 am and 10:30 am, upon prior reservation.

It includes:

two pastries;
bread;
orange juice;
a hot drink.
