I arrived at the home at 8pm to find the home backed up to a cemetery which did not make me feel comfortable. I wish they would have disclosed this on the listings. I inquired about a refund as I left the property within 15 minutes and stayed at a hotel and was informed no refund was available and all other fees still applied.

Great place to stay with team playing at Etown Sports park

We loved the property! We stayed her for a softball tournament at Elizabethtown Sports complex. Plenty of room for everyone the downstairs has plenty of single beds where all the girls stayed. Keena was awesome communicated throughout our stay to ensure everything was up to par. He even messaged me Sunday morning to let me know if we had time there was a breakfast/brunch buffet at the clubhouse at the golf course which worked out perfect for our group. If you need a place to stay that can accommodate a larger group this is it!

Golf house - as advertised!

2nd guys golf trip to KY and this house was far better than the last one we stayed in. Owner was EXTREMELY responsive and accommodating. Location was perfect for us as we bounced between 5 courses. Private. Fully stalked with cooking gear. We had a “chef” with us that had everything he needed. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bathrooms/showers. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great spot for Ripken tournament

We rented this place along with a few other families for a week-long Ripken baseball tournament in Elizabethtown - and it was perfect! Lots of beds, lots of space (inside and out), quiet, comfortable and the games room kept all the kids occupied and off screens during any downtime. Very conveniently located to E-town and to Louisville. The owners were highly responsive and very accommodating. We had a blast!

Baseball VRBO

The best place to stay with a large baseball family group. We shared this house with three other families and it was perfect. The kids loved the pool table and the poker table was awesome.

This is my second time staying here. This place is awesome. Large, clean, entertaining interior and deck, park like yard, very comfortable bedding and seating. The host treated us like members of his family. Always immediately available.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed here for a baseball tournament in Elizabethtown and it was the perfect place to stay. It was so close to the field. The host is amazing. We had an issue with the fridge and he had a new one delivered to our door on Father's Day within hours of reporting the issue!!

Great team house!!

We had a great night stay in between a tournament! Everyone had a comfortable bed and so many things to do in the house! What a fabulous alternative to a hotel!!

Perfection

Everything was beautiful. The grounds, the home, the amenities, everything. There was plenty of space and seating for us all to be together eating and playing games. The rooms were spacious as well as the bathrooms. The area is peaceful and the town is very inviting. We look forward to coming back again in the future.

Mixed Bag

Staying at the Golf House was overall a mixed bag. The property was largely as advertised. We had rented it for a fantasy football draft because of the ability to sleep a large amount of people, the relative privacy so we didn't disturb neighbors, and the cool amenities such as poker, a great room to hang out, foosball, pool, hot tub, deck, and grill. On all those fronts, it absolutely delivered and gets a good review. However, some of the other important things it did not deliver on. I did not receive check-in info until I was at the property and had to wait to get in because of it. We often had to look for or buy essentials (paper towels, trash bags, body wash and shampoo, etc) because they either were not there or there was no info on where to find them. There was no outdoor trash bins to put trash sacks in as well, which was a nuisance. Finally, Keena was really pleasant and responded well to communication, but on Saturday morning, he showed up to the house unannounced and just walked in without knocking or ringing the doorbell. It felt like an invasion of privacy, and was not very well received by our group. We were in the middle of our draft, as well. Even a knock or message would have been nice. Additionally, we were a group of 17 guys, but if it had been a family and a stranger had just walked into the house, it would have been even more strange. He was really nice and kind and welcoming, but the situation was pretty uncomfortable. Overall, think it's a really nice space but needs some work on the check-in and boundaries for when to show up for it to increase in rating.

Good times at the Golf House

This house was great for our bachelor party. We had 16 guys and there was plenty of space and numerous beds. The house sits on a quiet road with literally no neighbors in site. It's minutes from Lincoln Trail golf course which is decent, and it's not too far from some other great courses, distilleries, and Bardstown. The owner is wonderful. He booked us a party bus for our bourbon tour, and checked in often to make sure we were doing ok and having a great time.

Amazing home!!

My family of 4 stayed here with two other families (11 total people). The home is great, especially if you are in town for a golf trip or baseball tournament. The entertainment room has a hot tub, pool table, foosball and a poker table! I can’t forget to mention the hidden room with game machines! The host was incredibly friendly and responsive! The kids had a great time staying out of the heat (I am usually one that kicks the kids outdoors, but when it is over 100 degrees and they are in a baseball tournament, the A/C was welcomed), loved the putting green and relaxing. I would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling into the area!

Multi Family Stay

Keena was a wonderful host when we stayed at the The Golf House! There were multiple families that stayed when our boys played in a baseball tournament at Elizabethtown Sports Complex. There was plenty of room for everyone at the house and the rec room was great to keep busy during down time!

Very fun place for our family.

There were 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids) that came for a baseball tournament. This home was perfect for us. Plenty of room and the outdoors was so peaceful. Keena, the host, was just amazing and treated our family like friends. Highly recommend this rental.

Nice house in the country

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. I hosted a Bachelorette party at the house for one night and everyone had a great time. There were a few small hiccups but overall it was handled well.

Exceeds all expectations

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. 14 family members in our group. Lets start with the host. Phone calls or text get immediately returned. He gave the best information on the tours of the Bourbon trail, museums and other attractions in the area. The entire house was sanitized and clean. The furniture is outstanding quality. The beds are very comfortable. There is plenty seating throughout the house and outdoors. Pool, foosball, and card tables all in outstanding condition. There is a large hot tub, we did not use it but it was super clean and read for use. There is even an indoor putting green. The lawn and deck is very well maintained. We spent a lot of time outside. Guess are allowed during the day. Cooking utensils clean and good working condition. The owner has put alot of work and money into this property and it shows. We will be back soon!!!
