Super Thanksgiving visit!
Let me just say that I have been renting from VRBO for close to 15 years. There has never been a total blooper in the whole batch.This rental did not disappoint! Lovely neighborhood, well kept house. Walking in the front door was a pleasure even after I got there in the dark, the porch light was on. The house was very clean and decorated with holiday touches.Honestly, I think what tickled me the most was the “ calm” room at the back of the house. It just made me smile.The beds were comfortable and cozy.; the heat worked well. The amenities were really spot on (the bar soaps came home with me 😉)And the fenced in backyard!! The dog thought they had died and gone to heaven! The neighbors were only treated to one bark fest when a neighborhood cat came to visit. The visit was short-lived and I hope we didn’t upset anybody. In addition to the backyard, we were greeted with a dog bed, treats, and toys! As a dog parent that makes a lot of difference. Some rentals, accept dogs, but these people obviously really like them.If you have children, there’s a wonderful game room in the house, the backyard is great for kicking around a soccer ball, and not far down the street is the Yellow River Wildlife sanctuary! Our 12 year-old grandchild, loved walking around, and feeding and petting the animals.Because of the cooler and wet weather, we didn’t get to use the back deck much. But I can see where it would be really great for a warm weather visit.All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone coming into the Snellville/Lilburn/Stone Mountain area as a rental. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to the main highway that will get you to a visit to Stone Mountain proper. Grocery stores are convenient.By the way, this is the longest review I have ever written, and I don’t feel that I have done the property justice. Give it a try I think you’ll like it.
