A beautiful home with everything one would need for a stay. Plenty of space and loved the screened in back porch. Conveniently located and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it, would definitely stay again.

The house is really nice. Disappointed that the house wasn’t clean when we arrived. Very dusty and glass spots on kitchen counter. Sticky spots on dinning table. When we arrived the water hadn’t been turned on. Had to call about turning water on. We got locked out of house first night and had to sit in car in driveway for 1 1/2 hours before someone got there to let us back in the house. They also need to spray for spiders. Killed 4 while there.

We're glad you enjoyed the house overall. We're sorry the cleaning wasn't up to our usual standard on arrival, as we try hard to catch every detail and this fell short. The water issue was due to a temporary city shutoff for workmen in the area, so unfortunately that was outside our control. We have since removed the lock that caused the lockout delay so that issue won't happen again for future guests. We appreciate the feedback and are always working to make sure each stay is a great one.

Convenient location and clean, with nice space for a group. The kitchen was well stocked, once you worked your way past a lot of clutter. The screened in porch facing out toward a stand of trees was especially pleasant.

Property was exactly what we needed size wise for our group. Very good location in relation to town. Clean and safe neighborhood. The house itself was mostly fine, we had a few small concerns. The main concern was that the inside of the house smelled very strongly of cats. The smell was strong on the main floor and so strong in one bedroom upstairs that we did not use that bedroom, instead we left that door closed. The carpets felt slightly sticky. Some of the furniture needs to be updated as it is slightly aged, but worked for our needs. There was a lot of clutter in the whole house as in a lot of unneeded furniture. Sometimes less is more. We loved the screened in porch and easy access to the garage. Having multiple bathrooms and each level having its own private space was wonderful. Bathtubs had mats in them and were dirty upon arrival, and we found several pieces of trash laying around the house. Had trouble finding the bath towels, ended up finding them in a bedroom closet. All in all, the property worked for the quick weekend stay we needed it for.

We've also addressed the bathtub mats and trash left behind with our cleaning crew to make sure mats are cleaned and no trash is left before arrival. This was a trip for a local wedding and the communication via the app wasn’t the best. After reaching out three times I finally had to call VRBO. However, after that call Heather was very attentive and helpful! She answered all my questions and allowed us in a little early as we had people traveling from out of state. The house is FULLY stocked with everything you need! I’ve traveled a lot over the years and truly never experienced this level of stuff in a house. We kept saying it feels like we’re staying at a family members home. I will say there were a few stains on the carpets/beds, scratches on doors from previous animals, and the outdoor couch has reached its support limit. Oh and if you have a low profile car…. Do not go in the driveway. Over all I recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay in Jefferson City!

What a perfect time stay! The communication with host before and during. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything you could need. It was in a quiet neighborhood with privacy. The area was convenient to everything, plenty of space and great size rooms. We would definitely choose this house again on a future stay to Jefferson City.

Unfortunately, our recent stay was disappointing. The house had a strong musty or pet odor that hit us when we walked through the door giving the first impression that the house was damp and unclean. The 2nd floor was sweltering, so we had to keep the air conditioning temperature set very low which made the basement space frigid. We happened upon an attic fan but there were no instructions on how to use it. We suggest using it to help regulate the house temperature and make the upstairs space tolerable. In addition, the rooms were extremely cluttered, which made the space feel cramped and less comfortable than the listing suggested. Unless their cleaning company is willing to wipe down everything very frequently, less would be better otherwise its just dust collecting clutter. The kitchen was not well equipped for guests. Dinnerware was vintage and not suited for everyday use. There were not enough basic practical items such as plates, glasses, cookware, and paper goods to comfortably prepare meals during our stay. For a vacation rental, we expected a more functional and guest-ready setup. The trash was also an issue. The previous guests left three large bins of it in the garage and we were not informed of when trash pickup was so it remained there for the duration of our stay making the garage unusable. The location worked well, but the condition and lack of essential amenities did not meet our expectations. I hope the owner addresses these issues for future guests.

While we are glad the location worked well for your stay, we are sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations. We have since thoroughly cleaned the carpets to ensure the space is fresh. We have also added a portable A/C unit upstairs to help regulate the temperature between the floors.
