LOVE SHACK! THREE BEDROOM GULF-VIEW CARRIAGE HOUSE in Carillon Beach! Located across from Carillon Beach Walk-over #8, this beautiful two-bedroom carriage house shares a pool with the main 5-bedroom beach house, Rock Lobster. Love Shack has a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer for your convenience. This unit includes a complementary set of two chairs and pads with umbrella set up for you daily March 1 - Oct 31).

The second story porch overlooks the SHARED POOL, AND provides an amazing ocean view. Need more space for family members and friends? Add the main house (Rock Lobster), which is meticulously appointed, accommodates 9 additional guests and offers additional views of the ocean. For your review, you can find the combined main and guest house listed as “Rock Lobster & Love Shack”.

SHARED/PRIVATE POOL - only registered guests may use the pool. The guest must request heating the pool - Daily fee required of $60 per day before taxes.
Pool is 18 x 11, raised Spa is 6' in diameter

LOVE SHACK is located in the sequestered gated community of Carillon Beach on the Gulf of Mexico, which enjoys 3900 feet of uncrowded, white, sugary-sand beaches. Amenities include 3 community pools: Bellview Park, Beach Club Pool (located on the Gulf of Mexico), and East Pool. There are tennis/pickle ball courts, full basketball court, children's play area and large green spaces. This is a walking, biking, golf cart community with cafe, exercise club, general store, and Baliage salon and spa. In addition to the manned entrance gate, Carillon also employs licensed security officers who patrol the grounds to ensure the safety of our guests. Carillon Beach is a 'Mayberry USA' beach community where lasting, even generational, memories are created. Also, Carillon Beach is a disability friendly community with a wheelchair lift to the main pool area and a handicapped accessible ramp from the pool to the beach. The upscale shopping and restaurants of Rosemary Beach and 30A are only a 3-minute drive away.

PARKING POLICY: 2 vehicles and 1 golf cart. Maximum of one Vehicle or Golf Cart in the gravel area to be parked in front of a home, in the gravel. NO Golf Cart Charging of a cart that is parked on any gravel area. Charging must take place in the driveway.

GUARD GATE ENTRANCE PROCEDURE AND HOA PARKING POLICY: The Carillon Beach HOA has implemented a QR code entrance procedure for renters at the main entrance. All vehicles must register and pay a $42.50/vehicle parking fee to enter Carillon Beach. Upon registration, you will receive a QR code that you will use at the entrance scanner.

NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED OR COMMITTED UNTIL SPEAKING WITH THE MGR. PERSONALLY TO ASSURE THAT THIS IS THE RIGHT HOME FOR YOU.

This is a family vacation home. WE DO NOT RENT TO VACATIONING GROUPS OF UNSUPERVISED STUDENTS OR THOSE UNDER 30. Pets considered on request.

LOVE-able!

An amazing unit, with views and easy location to everything one dreams of on vacation! The management was very pleasant, helpful and timely in all, but very few requests. Smallish bedrooms, but certainly comfortable. For snowbirds, especially THIS year, we LOVED the LoveShack and would recommend and visit again: it was heaven!

Adorable Getaway!

My family and I love Carillon Beach and we enjoyed our stay at the Love Shack. The owners are extremely kind and welcoming - they made renting easy! The space for this guest house is used very efficiently (It was a comfortable stay for our family of 5). My kids loved the private pool and I loved that we were right next to the beach walk over. The top porch also provided a nice view of the ocean. We give it a thumbs up!

Location, location, location!

Our family of four had a GREAT vacation at the "Love Shack"! The newly updated decor is so nice, and the location can't be beat. You're steps away from the ocean, and you have your own pool and hot tub in the backyard! We became friends with our neighbors in "Rock Lobster" and even spent one night grilling hamburgers and hotdogs with them, eating dinner by the poolside. We even got to meet the owners on our last day, and they were so kind and helpful! We highly recommend "Love Shack" for your next beach getaway!

Quaint, Clean and Adorable

The perfect size cottage for additional family and friends. Loved the new updates and decor. The built-ins provide additional space for clothes, etc. We love that it had two bunk areas for the kids. Having 2 1/2 baths comes in handy as well. You won't have to worry about little ones sneaking out to the pool due to the security on both bedroom doors leading to the pool deck area. We loved staying at The Love Shack and look forward to many more family trips staying here.

The upstairs area did stay fairly warm so I’m imagining the bunk room would get really hot in the summer. The air unit worked great down in the bedrooms.

Amazing Host, Friendly Communication, Hands Down Amazing Vacation!!!

The Love Shack certainly care about your stay. They personally checked on our visit several times during our week. Nice hot water and pressure. Only one issue with the cable TV upstairs and it was fixed right away. Very nice accommodations for 2 couples and 2 kids. Kids loved the bunk beds upstairs and the pool. (There are 2 more bunks downstairs) The best part is the beach access is right across the street. We enjoyed the Love Shack so much we never visited the other three pools on the property. We HIGHLY recommend staying here and will definitely be back next year and years too follow!!!!!

Awesome Week at an Awesome Home

My family if 5 had an awesome time at the Love Shack. The house fit my family perfect. We have 9 year old twins and a 7 year old and everyone had their own private place to sleep at night. You are literally across the street from the beach walkover and one block from one of the neighborhood pools. We only went to the neighborhood pool once because we loved the one at the house so much. It was our favorite lunch spot. We were blessed to be staying there while the owners were staying in Rock Lobster and got to know Greg and Leann. They are a wonderful, very hospitable couple. We can't wait to go back. Highly Recommend...unless you are coming when I want to go back ;)

The private shared pool was nice to look at from the porch but it felt like we were intruding on the other family that was staying in the main house and we didn’t get a chance to use it. There are plenty of other pool options available in the community though. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

With view of the beach and gulf each day, plus easy access to walK over and great balconies to enjoy —-it was just a wonderful two weeks! Karen Sandel is always the best and responds rapidly when anything is in need of repair, e.g. the washing machine had a glitch and she came with repairman to fix it so we didn’t have to stick around. Very clean and updated inside and the private pool was awesome. Probably would not like if the main house had been rented at same time since such close proximity and noise of anyone else using the pool right outside our balconies would have not been enjoyed. But we were lucky and main house was vacant during our stay....would definitely rent it again.

Love Shack Review

Let me start with the positive. Our agent, Christina, was very kind and super helpful with packages that were shipped that we couldn't find. The location and proximity to the beach is amazing! You can see the ocean from the back porch and it is just steps to the walkover. The beach set up is close to the steps too! Truly beautiful. I have 3 teenage kids and they really enjoyed having their own spaces...one in each of the 3 bedrooms and one in the bunk bed cubby in the hallway. The decorations are beautiful too! However, we had issues with the garbage disposal and laundry not functioning well the entire trip. It took be all day to get one load washed and dried. After the second day of it, I gave up on laundry. Usually that would be a problem on vacation, but space is so limited in this tiny unit, that it would be nice to not have dirty clothes in corners. Also the internet is pretty weak which made it hard for my husband to work from here. Last thing to note is the shared pool. The location being right outside of the 2 main bedrooms is not ideal. It is a beautiful but small pool that is shared with the larger house next door. It really is kind of an awkward situation to share a small pool with a house of strangers. However, we were grateful for the couple of hours that we got to steal away with it.

Beautiful neighborhood but disappointed in a couple of things

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is located in a stunningly beautiful neighborhood and is steps away from the beach. We felt the home (mainly the floors) were not very clean. Upon arrival, our feet turned black from walking on the floors, so we had to wear shoes the while in the house. One of the en suite bathrooms (the one without a door to the hallway) smelled like urine . Also, the queen beds are pushed against the wall of windows making it uncomfortable to get on an off the bed plus having only one nightstand was an inconvenience.We were very impressed, however, with the responsiveness of the property management & their house maintenance guys were both excellent- courteous and professional. Overall, we would recommend the neighborhood 10/10. We will need to find a different house to rent next time. Thank you

Love Shack 3-Day Weekend

Great location. Love Shack was small but did it’s Job, especially since we booked way last minute! But definitely will go for more space next time. Karen welcomed us at the property. A/c upstairs wasn’t the best- pretty hot at times; ventilation upstairs isn’t the greatest especially when cooking; lights were non existent in the bunk room upstairs but the outlets worked, weird! Karen did provide lightbulbs for a lamp, brought them by quickly on her bike, but they didn’t work for the lamp. There seemed to be a ceiling light and lights on the bed bunks but all weren’t working. Also, the alarm sound for the back doors downstairs was super obnoxious! Overall good stay and great location. We Enjoyed the pool. Could of gone without the “day laborers” comment that was expressed to my family as we were just getting there, about not hiring “them” b/c “they” don’t clean well. But yes we had a great time, access to beach was convenient, and the house definitely makes use of every space.

Love Carillon, love the location, management was terrible

This was our first time staying in Carillon and we LOVED it. It's safe, quiet, beautiful, and wonderful for families. The house location is amazing and we loved having a pool. However, the linens were not clean upon arrival (this was corrected the first day). The washer and dryer were broken and there was no internet for the full week of our stay, and the management team (and I say team because I had to talk to 3 different people, the housekeeper and a maintenance person while I was there) was terrible at communication and very difficult to work with. I spent a considerable amount of time dealing with the issues on my vacation and did finally receive a price adjustment but only after pressing hard for it. Had these issues not been there, we would have given this cozy place 5 stars, but this was not what I expected in a vacation. If you book this house, make sure you have in writing that the appliances and amenities work and have been checked by a staff member before your arrival!

What a great place to social distance

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit this year, we started looking at a good option to social distance. Carillon Beach is one of our favorite places on earth, and it only made sense to look for a place there. The neighborhood is fabulous...quiet and private. The neighborhood amenities are all top notch. There are plenty of pools and the beach is so nice. Love Shack ended up being a great option for a Carillon house. The house is the perfect size for a couple or family. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything that you need and the view from the kitchen and living room is awesome. The pool that is shared with Rock Lobster isn’t huge, but just the right size for a few people. What a great amenity!! On top of that, Love Shack is in such a great location. Just a few steps to the beach walkover, and, once you are on the beach, you have your own beach chairs and umbrella. All in all, we were completely happy with Love Shack and will be back!

Absolutely perfect location, love the pool, beach access, grill, and were able to save a little by cooking in the kitchen! Wish we were there right now!! Fabulous family time here
