This nicely decorated and recently updated, three bedroom, two bath duplex home is the ideal mountain retreat for a gathering of family and friends. The open and spacious main level is comprised of the living room with a gas fireplace, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and the laundry room. There is also a large, private deck that has a 6 person bubbly hot tub and a stainless gas grill and outdoor seating.


This home features dining table with seating for six and breakfast bar with additional seating for 3. The kitchen offers plenty of counter space and the open design is perfect for entertaining guests and family gatherings.

Bedrooms on the main level consist of one King Bedroom and one Queen bedroom. Lower level bedrooms share a common hallway bathroom.

The upstairs features a a master suite with King bed and en-suite master bath. There is also a loft area that provides extra sleeping with a full over full bunk bed. There is an additional TV viewing area in the loft as well.

This home is conveniently located less than one block to the free shuttle system to town and the ski area. This home is only 1.4 miles from the Quicksilver Chair for skiing.

Outdoor parking is available for 2 cars. Sorry, the garage is for owner use only.

$350 pet fee will be applied per dog if bringing a pet. Dogs only. Sorry, no cats.

Cozy space, close to town

Great spot for my family's weekend ski trip. Check in was easy, the the space was clean and comfortable. We loved how close it was to the mountain, and the hot tub in the evenings!

Great place in Breckenridge

This property was perfect for a long weekend in Breckenridge with the family. The location is great. It is a 0.7 mile walk or a short drive to downtown. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. We would stay here again.

Great location and spacious house

We had a great stay here in August. Perfect location - close to town yet far enough away from the crowds. The house was spacious with large rooms and open areas. Great having the hot tub out back. Would definitely stay here again.

Broken lance house in breckenridge

Beautiful property, fully stocked ammenities. The hot tub was very clean, heated toilet seat and so many shoe trays perfect for all the wet shoes. Incredible close to mainstreet Breckenridge and also 11 mins from peak 8.

The property is great. Perfect size for our group. Free Ride shuttle was great and close. It was not a problem for our group, but quiet hours begin at 9pm.

Nice spacious house, perfect for adults, kids, and everyone having space. The loft allowed for kids to be able to have separated living room space. I also liked the woodsy but updated aesthetic. We had a great stay.

Overall nice place....beds slept well....definitely needs more accommodating furniture in LR...bad arrangement and can only fit like 4 people and furniture u comfortable and TV was to small.

We appreciate the feedback but unfortunately there is not room for additional furniture in this property and the set up is accurately portrayed in the photos prior to booking. This is a very popular property which always seems to garner high reviews and is a great spot to bring your dog along with you! Please come back again!

Well equipped, appointed, and maintained. Roomy yet cozy. Very clean and it had everything we needed. Even the hot tub was spotless and sparkling. Close to town but not quite walking distance. Right on the shuttle route. Our family loved this property and we would Highly recommend it for others.

House was in great condition and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We have always stayed at ski in/ski out locations, but the bus service made this locationquite convenient to the slopes. Two moose (a mother & calf) came right up to the front window one day & wandered about the area hunting for foliage to eat. That was an amazing experience!

Older property but a nice stay!

Overall, a great property!! Well kept and nicely equipped. We made short notice travel arrangements and were thrilled to get a spot in town and dog friendly! We traveled with 5 adults and a dog and the space felt comfortable but I think it would be a bit tight travelling with a much larger group. The layout of the family room furniture isn't conducive to watching TV and they request that you not rearrange the furniture which impacted our ability to hang out watching football as a group in the family room. But overall, nice place and would stay there again!

Perfect for pets

We took our 2 small dogs on a trip for the first time and this property was perfect for them - and for us. There is a fenced in back yard that is shared with a very nice neighbor so they had a place to roam. Easy access to the trails and to town. The free bus is super close. The property is nicely remodeled and well equipped. The view is limited but we knew that from the description.

The property is run down!! Needs serious upgrading. David was wonderful! The next door neighbor was very nosy. The TV system is very complicated, painting is needed on the back patio, and the furniture outdated and dirty! We will never stay here again.

We appreciate all the guests that stay with us. We did communicate with this guest multiple times and showed them how to use the TV's. Brought them a brand new gas grill and offered any help they needed. The neighbor politely asked them not to park on the grass and they were very rude to her. Unfortunately, you get a bad apple from time to time and this was one of them. Left the place a total mess broke a bed and then leave us a less than stellar review. These are the type of guests that no doubt give short term rentals a bad rap. I hope the the many other 5 star reviews speak for themselves. Please inquire with any questions you may have.

Ski Trip

The property was very nice, and in a convenient neighborhood not far from downtown. We had an extended family group of 9 that is used to vacationing together, and the accommodations were very comfortable. The private hot tub was very welcome after a day of skiing. Unfortunately, our washing machine wasn’t working, the owner was working on it, but service only works so fast. I’m not sure if the previous renters had any issues, but if you are, out of curtesy to the next guest please report them. I do understand that every item can’t be checked between renters. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can't beat the location of this property. It's right on the bus route and very easy to get to the slopes in the morning. The property fit our group of nine nicely, but if you have all adults, I would say only 8 people can fit comfortably. The property could use some updates of electronics and we we're surprised to find no basic/long shelf life ingredients in the fridge or pantry like you might find at other rentals. Lastly, we had an issue with our noise level the last night when there were only a few of us sitting in the hot tub chatting, but property management reached out to us and we were able to handle the matter quickly. I would recommend the property for eight adults that plan to spend most of their time on the mountain, but overall enjoyed the vacation and property.

Breck 1/24

The property was lovely for our family of 7 adults and 2 little children (ages 1 & 3). The condo had lots of space, was very clean, had lots of added extras like dishwashing liquid (no laundry detergent tho) and toiletries in the bathrooms, and the kitchen was well stocked with a coffee maker and a Keurig, a slow-cooker and a blender as well as pots pans, etc. The only thing missing was a soup ladle! :) FYI you have to move the kitchen table and add the fold-up chairs stored in the closet to be able to seat 8 people. My group also loved the hot tub after a long day skiing! A lovely bonus. We loved the proximity to the bus stop for town visits and skiing. Access to the garage would have been a plus, but sadly it's not available:( One word of caution for folks with little children. The railings on the stairs and loft are about 18 inches apart - so very easy for a toddler to pass through. We had to be extra vigilant when our two little ones went up the stairs, or when they were in the loft. We limited some of the loft railing access by moving the sofa in front of part of the railing and that did help. But you still have to remain close upstairs at all times to prevent a bad fall. The host was great answering questions closer to our visit. I would definitely recommend this condo for adults!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 (4 adults and two kids) had a great stay at the Broken Lance retreat. The location to the Brown South bus was fantastic, making getting from the house to the Beaver Run or Quicksilver lift very easy. Driving into town was 5-7 minutes as well. Hot tub worked great and the covering is nice for those snowy moments. A few nits- living room configuration is off, should have the couch facing the tv. The downstairs TV needs an upgrade, you should get a larger one. Heating was strange, it got really hot if you used the thermostat, avoiding it and just using the fireplace is better (and recommended in the house guide). Finally, after having stayed at dozens of rentals, I have never had toilet paper run out. You should always stock an extra, even if you just provide a starter. It’s just normal to do that!

We appreciated the convenience of the bus location as it was an easy hop on hop off to the ski hill and down town. The place was clean,hot tub was perfect after a long day, beware though the downstairs bathroom is cold, also if mirrors could be added in each room that would be a great bonus for large groups!
