Kia ora and welcome! I’m from Wānaka, here in beautiful Aotearoa. I love the outdoors — whether it’s walking our dog Colin along the lakefront, heading out for a bush walk, or just enjoying a good cuppa in the sunshine. I also enjoy spending time with family, getting out in the garden and taking in the view.

Hosting is a real pleasure for me because it’s a chance to share a little slice of Kiwi life, meet people from all over, and make sure you feel relaxed and at home. My hope is that you’ll enjoy your stay here as much as I enjoy welcoming you.

I chose Wanaka because it’s honestly one of the most stunning spots in New Zealand. You’ve got the lake right there, mountains all around, and endless ways to get outdoors — from skiing in winter to swimming, biking, and hiking in summer.

What I love most is the mix of adventure and chill — you can spend the day exploring trails or paddling on the lake, then relax with a glass of Central Otago wine as the sun sets over the mountains. It’s such a welcoming, laid-back place, and it’s hard not to fall in love with it.

What makes our place unique is that it’s brand new and thoughtfully designed to give you lots of little nooks and spaces to relax — whether you want to curl up with a book, enjoy a quiet coffee, or just take in the view. It’s modern and fresh, with all the comforts you’d expect, but still has that welcoming, homely feel that makes it easy to settle in.

The best part? It’s like having two homes in one. With two fully separate kitchens, laundries, and living areas, it’s perfect for families or groups who want to spend time together but still enjoy their own space and privacy.

All of this comes with the bonus of those stunning Lake Wānaka and mountain views, which make every moment here feel special. It really is a relaxing home away from home — calm, comfortable, and the perfect spot to recharge while still being close to everything this amazing area has to offer.
