Acerca de este alojamiento
Taranaki Creekside KIWI by Tiny Away
Summary:
Welcome to Taranaki Creekside KIWI! The ideal holiday homes NZ escape sits on a 4-acre lifestyle block in rural Taranaki, which is divided into four paddocks, roughly an acre each. Surrounded by working agricultural farms, to the east is a dairy farm, to the west is a horse ranch, and south is a beef cattle ranch. A hidden gem within Egmont (Taranaki) National Park, overlooking Tongariro, Ruapehu, and Ngāruhoe.
The Space:
Taranaki Creekside KIWI by Tiny Away is 8 km from the town of Stratford in Taranaki, just 30 minutes from New Plymouth. KIWI is set beside a creek, surrounded by native bush, with stunning views of Mt Taranaki. It's one of the few places in the world with both an alpine mountain and a surf beach, all within a 30-minute drive. Nearby New Plymouth and Egmont National Park are just a few of the attractions.
A cozy 15-square-metre tiny home set in an idyllic and peaceful location, with bonus views of Mt Tongariro, Mt Ngāuruhoe (Mt Doom from The Lord of the Rings), and Mt Ruapehu—three of the four iconic mountains of the North Island—rising on the eastern horizon. In the evening, relax by the outdoor fire brazier and enjoy breathtaking views of the Milky Way Galaxy.
What’s more, Taranaki’s holiday homes NZ experience includes hot and cold running water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and well-appointed bathroom facilities. These feature an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, a hand basin, and a shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: KIWI is perfectly position to face the mountain and has stunning views from all vantage points. While our 2nd tiny home TUI is visible from the roadside. KEA our 3rd tiny home is nestled under the trees. If you want to book in groups, please contact your host 24 hrs in advance.
In addition, the tiny house sits at a higher altitude, so it occasionally gets snowfall. While the area is mostly peaceful, you may hear some noise from nearby farm animals and passing farm vehicles.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and are welcome to explore our paddocks and creek.
Do not drive through fields or paddocks to park near the Tiny House. This damages our pasture and risks your vehicle’s safety.
