Welcome to The Nook, a cosy two-bedroom home just moments from the lake. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or simple staycation, this charming space offers everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay, with shops, cafes, the lake and beaches all just minutes away. We’re also pet friendly, welcoming 1–2 small to medium-sized pets, so your furry friends can join in on the holiday fun too.
The Space:
The Nook is a cosy, comfortable home designed for a relaxing stay, whether it’s a quick getaway or a longer break.
Bedding Configuration:
Bedroom 1: Double Bed with ceiling fan and block-out blinds
Bedroom 2: Single Bed with ceiling fan and block-out blinds
The living area is bright and inviting, featuring reverse-cycle air conditioning, a large TV, and comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the lake or beach.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, cooktop, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, and kettle, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay.
The combined bathroom and laundry has a Vanity, Shower, WC and Washing Machine (please note there is no dryer).
Step outside to enjoy the large, secure backyard, ideal for bringing your furry friends. The outdoor area includes a BBQ and seating, perfect for meals or relaxing in the sun.

Surf & Patrolled Beach: Just a short 5-minute drive to Warilla Beach, perfect for sun, surf, and swimming. The patrolled area is ideal for beginners or families.
Water Sports & Diving: Windsurfing, parasurfing, free diving, and scuba diving are all available nearby, especially around Windang Island, which is accessible by a short drive or walk.
Fishing & Exploring: Excellent fishing spots can be found along the shoreline or off Windang Island. The island itself is perfect for a scenic walk or exploration.
Little Lake & Lake Illawarra: Only a few minutes’ drive, these calm waters are ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, or fishing. Council-maintained parks and playgrounds make them family-friendly destinations.
Local Café: Grab breakfast, light lunches, and great coffee at cafés close to the lake and beach.

We accept Visa and Mastercard only. A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking confirmation, with the remaining 75% due 13 days prior to check-in. Please ensure sufficient funds are available, as fees may apply for declined transactions. A $500 security deposit hold will be placed on the credit card on the day of check-in. Access codes will only be released once the security hold has been successfully processed. Funds held for the security deposit will be released within 5–7 days after check-out, provided no issues arise during your stay or are reported by our cleaners post check-out.
Main guest must be 21 years old or over. Guests will receive a link to our online check-in form once the booking is confirmed. This form must be completed by the main guest prior to arrival.
Please be advised that we strictly enforce a no-noise, no-party policy. Our home is located in a quiet neighbourhood with permanent residents nearby; therefore, we are unable to accommodate “hens/bucks” events or “schoolies” bookings. The property is best suited to families or friends seeking a peaceful getaway.
Linen and bath towels are provided for all guests, and beds will be made prior to your arrival for your convenience. Please remember to bring your own beach towels.
Pets are not allowed indoors, outdoors only. No pet beds or bowls are provided, guests are required to clean up after their pets.
All bookings are subject to the guest’s full compliance with the NSW Government Short-Term Rental Accommodation Code of Conduct for the duration of their stay.
