Brand new home that gives you the cabin feeling but with walking distance to the nearest dock! You can grill outside while feeling disconnected from the outside world. Kayaks and a paddle board are ready to go for a quick spin at the lake. There’s plenty of parking for a boat and multiple cars. There’s 4 other houses in that area but all spread apart. Great place to relax and unwind for the weekend!

Cute cabin near Lake Whitney

We enjoyed our stay at your cute house near Lake Whitney. The property was just as expected. The beds were very comfortable, with ceiling fans in each bedoom and living room. The extra floor fans in the living were a nice extra and the extra fan in the guest room closet. The front porch was nice, the only improvement would be is could use some railing to hang wet lake towels on. We really enjoyed your property and look forward to staying there again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation get away. The Andersons.

Getaway weekend

Great location! House is very charming and the beds were very comfortable! The main area gets really warm during the day so we try to keep the lights off.

Great stay, close to the lake for fishing

The home was beautiful. Perfect for a quick get away to go fishing. Sit out on the porch in the morning and watch the road runners, very quiet area. Absolutely enjoyed

Very clean and new property. Water pressure was low in shower but not a big deal when you are sunburned! We would go back.

The house was very clean, the beds were ok. Our biggest negative was the seating in the living area. Only enough seating for 3 people.

Family stay

It was overall very nice and clean. We do wish there was better seating for movie watching. It did sleep 6 but 3 were in the only recliners in the living room that didn't like to stay back because it was the kids. I guess they were to small for the chairs.

Lake Whitney's newest home.

Wonderful home just up the street from Juniper Cove Park and the Lake Whitney marina boat ramp. Quite, rural location but just 3.5 miles from a new grocery store. This new house has luxurious mattresses and all the modern amenities. I'd highly recommend this vrbo to couples and small families.

Super cute and very clean

This house was great for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the house so much. The lake was a quick drive away and the water toys they provide were great! Carina was great to work with. The air mattress fit great in the front room and the other beds were very comfortable. We fit 5 adults very cozy and easily. Bring your own games, place a grocery pick up with Brookshires, eat at the yummy Mexican restaurants and have a great time in Whitney!

Responsive Host & Great Stay

We loved our stay this weekend! Carina was super kind and responsive! The house was comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. I loved the rocking chairs on the front porch! The lake was a little further than we anticipated, and the water is high right now so we had a hard time finding a fishing spot (not owners fault), but we had a much needed comfortable awesome vacation anyways. We also took advice of a previous review and went to fossil rim wildlife park which was a fun time with the kids. So grateful for our much needed vacation.

Perfect little hideaway!

This gem is tucked away in a very quiet, tree filled neighborhood with close proximity to Lake Whitney. The home is beautiful and has everything you would need for a relaxing getaway. We took an hour drive on beautiful backroads to Waco to visit the Magnolia sites, and spent some time at the nearby lake parks surrounding the area. Food recommendations would include the Cafe as well as Tres Hermanos. Delicious! We loved our stay!

Will definitely be back!

This new home exceeded our expectations. Beautiful home in a quiet and convenient location. We were in town for a funeral with our infant, 4 year old and best friend. We rent vacation homes often, and was very pleased with how the house was well stocked with much more then most. I wish we’d had time for the lake, and would love to return to do so. Great stay!

Quiet, Peaceful, Close to Lake

Loved this place. Peaceful and quiet. Clean and very well organized/decorated. Well stocked. Plenty of space for us and our 2 dogs. Within walking distance to Lake. Brookshire's is maybe 5 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute little house

We had a great time at this cabin. It was small, but it worked. I don't know if I'd advertise it as being able to sleep 6 though. We put our three kids in the king bed and my husband and I slept in the full. It was very easy to get to and we enjoyed being able to use the kayaks.

Had a great time!

Had a great time at Lake Whitney! The Home was clean and very nice. Not sure it should be listed as a 6 sleeper, but definitely was comfortable for 4 people except for the seating area in the living room, there was only room for 3 people to sit. Also, the kitchen table is only a 4 seater. Would definitely recommend for a party of 4!

Lovely and secluded

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back! The house is a short walk to the water. We loved sitting on the front porch drinking our coffee in the mornings and looking at the stars in the evening. We are used to Houston humidity so even 90 degrees here felt like heaven, and it was wonderful to be able to see the stars. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. The house is so cute and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is so new that Waze couldn’t find it once we got into Whitney, so make sure you use Apple or google maps to get there.

The property is very family friendly and welcoming. We had a great time during our visit and enjoyed looking at the clear night skies and swimming in the nearby lake.

My husband and I both graduated from Evant, Tx. We have known each other practically our entire life. We have one handsome teenager that keeps us on our toes. When we are not doing something outdoors, we are helping run our family business. Our rustic furniture store is located in Gatesville. My husband’s office is in Cleburne, we are all over the place! When we went searching for a place near his office, we immediately fell in love with Whitney! We have enjoyed every second of it.

The people are super friendly and it reminds us of home, Evant. We are constantly on the go, but use Whitney as our downtime place. We would like to share the same feeling with others!

You can walk down to Juniper Cove or drive a couple miles to McCown Valley State Park. You can unwind without having to deal with a busy neighborhood, or loud neighbors.
