Cabin by the River

Are you looking for a different type of vacation experience besides the beach and the mountains? Why not vacation (or weekend getaway) on the river?!? Covered Bridges Properties proudly offers this 1 bedroom/ cabin. Relax on the porch, take a nap in the daybed swing; while the kids walk down the path to the river to fish! Bring your pole!

There are several local restaurants with a 15 minute drive from the cabin, Top Hat BBQ & El Molino Mexican Restaurant. We are only 15 minutes from 165.

The space
This cabin is located in historic Blount County. Blount County is famous for its numerous covered bridges, historical sites, and wonderous natural beauty (Mardis Mill Falls). Some nearby areas of interest include, Cullman- Octoberfest, Ave Maria Grotto, Hanceville- Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and Blount County's beautiful covered bridges.

Hotel Hayden

The cabin is very quite, secluded, relaxing.Could use a little pest control.Trek to river is adventurous especially when wet. Really need to be in good shape.Price was good.I would consider staying again , just not fishing.Host communicated through email but responded quickly.

A nice quiet get away

My son loved staying here for a few days while he is on furlough from his job. He thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to return in the near future. He highly recommends the accommodations awaiting anyone wanting to unplug from everyday life.

Our Cabin Stay

Nice remote little cabin. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Nicely decorated for the Christmas season even had Christmas Tree. Walk to the river was very steep but good hand rails made it safe I am 70 years old and had no problem and river was nice with large swimming area at the bottom. We went to Warrior Wonderland cave light display which was very good.

Amazing quiet retreat

This little cabin was just what we needed. Quiet, away from it all. The river is beautiful but quite a walk. The fire fit was nice as well as everything in the house. We were very pleased and will be back if in the area.

Romantic Get Away

Great little place to hide from all your troubles. Very peaceful. Very clean. I have nothing negative to say about this little cabin. I do advise being in great shape before you make the trip to the . It was a little grown up at the bottom so we didn't swim, but we sat and enjoyed the scenery. Beautiful place Hope to visit again water.

We’ve stayed here before, and it was just as good or better this time around. The “hiking trail” to the river has been updated since last time which made it a lot easier to get up and down. We will be back!

Cabin in the wooda

This place is nothing short of amazing. The drive from the main rd takes 4 minutes to reach this secluded gem. You still have great cell phone service as well. I would highly recommend staying here

Private and peaceful

Very cutely decorated!! Super clean, and exceeded our expectations with everything we needed for our short stay. Loved sitting on the back porch, where we could hear the river far below. We did hike down to it, which is challenging/steep, but we very much appreciated the work to make it safe and doable !! The long dirt road is very well maintained!! It was easy to get to, and come and go on our outings. The place is so peaceful, surrounded by the sounds and views of nature. Our cell phones had excellent service. We would stay again !!

ALABAMA ADVENTURE

1st time ever visiting Alabama attended an event in Warrior. Amazing cabin in the woods, so quiet, peaceful, comfy, clean, had everything you need. Store and restaurants not far from road either. Beautiful getaway.

Nice little cabin in the country

Very neat & clean cabin. It's a little longer drive to Cullman than the miles would suggest, due to lower speed limit back roads. GPS didn't find it, but the host's directions were clear. It is on a dirt/gravel road. Very quiet, nice getaway spot.

This setting was very remote but also very quite and relaxing. The cabin was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay.

Clean and Quiet

Cabin was an a quiet and beautiful area. Was clean. Walk down to river was quite steep most of the time. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Middle of nowhere get away

Responsive host. Squirrels in the walls and no WiFi well appointed- it is what it is- a getaway rustic cabin.
