Our Riverfront 4 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath Excutive Home is the Perfect Get A Way for Friends & Families. Our Multi Tiered Deck leading down to The Guadalupe is like walking thru a Tree House. We have private access to the river thru our shared HOA property or walk .8 mile to the Rockin R for tube rentals Inside, our Fully Equipped Kitchen has everything you would need to cook for your group & a gas grill outside. You can walk to the Numerous restaurants in Gruene itself. We love the Live Music selection all over town. You never know who’ll see.
Downstairs is the Living, Dining, Master Bedroom and a sitting room. Upstairs are 3 Bedrooms, a nook with Bunkbeds. There is ample parking for 4 vehicles (you are welcome to use the garage) with overflow parking across from The Grismill. We fell in love with the tree top canopy where we enjoy having a glass of wine & watching the deer frolic. We hope you will too!

Our family had the best little getaway in Gruene over Thanksgiving weekend! We spent slow mornings enjoying the decks at the house, wandered through town, had great food, and loved how easy it was to explore everything. The kids had a blast fishing, exploring, and just hanging out together...exactly the peaceful reset we needed.Gruene is such a charming town with kind people, great food, and good music. Classic Texas Hill Country. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed, including plenty of games for the teens, and the location couldn’t have been better. We’re already talking about going back!

Gorgeous river getaway

We had our annual girls trip at the house and we could not be more impressed! The house is stunning, clean and well equipped. The location is unbeatable….we were able to walk to the Gristmill and the Rockin R tubing location from the house. Plenty of other restaurants and shops easily walkable. The decks and views of the river are beautiful and it was so easy to walk down and spend the day in the water. We saw so many lovely deer friends throughout the day, every day as well. The hosts are also super friendly and super quick at responding to any questions! Wonderful stay, we will be back for sure.

Nice place

We had a very good time here. You are very close to Gruene. We walked there. The river access from the house is good. It was very relaxing to sit in the river all afternoon. The house was very clean and a really nice place to stay.

Even better than the pictures!

Beautiful property! Views from the decks are amazing. It really is right on the river. House was very well stocked. No need to even bring seasonings if cooking in. I would say, for our group, the walk to Gruene Hall was closer to five minutes. We all agreed that we would stay here again! Everything was well labeled so using appliances, tv etc was easy. House was super clean too.

By far best rental we've experienced

We have stayed in rentals in several states and this is by far the cleanest and best stocked. Location is great. Decks are amazing. And it is wonderfully absent the thing I find most annoying after paying a cleaning fee - pages of chores demanded before check out. The only minor changes we would like to see are televisions in bedrooms (my husband) and a much larger wardrobe to hang clothes in master (me). Our clothes for the event were crushed and the master is roomy enough for hanging wardrobe and even a chair or bench. We had an amazing trip and the bar was set high to which all our future rentals will be compared.

Great Gruene weekend get away!

Wonderful house, cooked on gas grill, walking 10 min to downtown Gruene, 7 tubes available to float from Gruene back to the house …. Great location, wonderful weekend for 7 of us …. Really good host/property manager/owners!

Great River House for Group Trip

This house was amazing for our group trip. The house was very clean, the kitchen was big and well stocked, the river access was perfect for our needs and it was close to everything in town. The patio was wonderful and even had a grill. FYI- Getting to the river from the house is steep and many steps. We were able bodied and it was fine, but I could see it presenting challenges for some people.

Wonderful Family Weekend

Everything was great.

The stay was great. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. Many towels, showers were stocked with bath wash and shampoo, etc. the home is lovely and so so clean. Very responsive manager/owner. Nicest VRBO that I have ever stayed in. I’ll say the outside cameras seemed a little creepy but that’s about all the negative. Oh and I got a text at 9:00 am today reminding us to be out by 11:00.
