Family Berry Beach House

Fantastic property for large families and multiple families. Great area with lots to do and close to the beach. House had all the amenities and teenage kids loved the spa and their own wing in the house

Great family getaway

We had 15 guests and there was a bed for everyone. Heaps of room both inside and out to relax. Beautiful grounds and awesome house. Loved it.

Large and space to relax for all

We had 4 families come together for a weekend away. The property was spacious, great facilities and a short 5 min drive to the beach. Well worth a look!

Fabulous for a large family getaway

The property was perfect for a large family of mixed ages - clean, spacious, and plenty to do. The gardens were beautiful, such a relaxing environment and the house was amazing. Very clean and well presented, space to be together and to retreat alone. Highly recommend!

Huge property, great for a group.

We stayed here for a Christmas in July weekend with a group of friends. We were all very happy with the location, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and it was very well appointed, all set in beautiful grounds in a gorgeous part of the south coast. Would highly recommend.

Great place to go with our family

Good location, lots of accommodation. Only complaint was bar be q not great, and oven not cleaned. Gas did not work Saturday night but able to contact agent. Overall great stay

Hi Josephine, thank you for your feedback and please be assured we take all feedback on board. I can confirm the cleaners have done a thorough clean on both the oven and BBQ and we are sorry it wasn't up to standard for your stay but this has definitely been addressed. We are glad we could talk you through changing the gas bottles over for the hot water on the Saturday evening. It can tricky changing gas bottles over if you haven't done this before. A lot of our guests are used to being on mains gas in the city so bottled house gas is new to a lot of people. We hope to see you have again in future. Regards The Berry Getaways Team

Very spacious and beautiful place! We've already decided, we'll rent the house again!

We had such a great time in that amazing house! We were 10 adults and 4 toddlers and everyone loved it! Large outdoors that everyone can enjoy and very spacious indoors as well. I recommend it to everyone!

Comfortable and Quiet

Coolaroo Beach House Berry was the perfect place for our family to get together for a special birthday celebration. The property comfortably housed 12 adults and 4 children. The beautiful grounds provided plenty of opportunities for photos and room for the children to play. It’s a short drive into Berry township and very close to the beach but also very quiet & secluded.

FAMILY HOLIDAY

A lovely large country home, suitable for a family holiday. The only minor criticism is that the kitchen in the main living area was rather small for the numbers of guests (with different meal requirements).

Such a beautiful place! Location is amazing! Very central to everything. Only thing is the property could probably do with some maintenance inside & out and wasn’t super clean , other than that we would definitely recommend and stay again :)

wonderful 3 days

Fantastic property for our group of 8 women. So much space,comfy beds,lots of kitchen equipment,cutlery,glassware etc.Spectacular gardens and very peaceful. Best property yet for our group who go away twice a yr and have been for the past 21 yrs!!!Weall loved this property and will be back!

This property has a number of problems and you deal with a managing agent rather than the owner. At least initially as the owner did get involved later, to no avail.No hot water on arrival. We could only get this attended to on day two so it was cold showers on day one. Also, only some showers worked after they were "fixed". Rather than waste more time we made do with the working ones.The spa was unserviceable the entire time of our stay. The main reason we booked this property. This should have been found and noted before we turned up so we could cancel.Property needs a thorough clean from top to bottom. Lots of dust under and around furniture. Mold and algae on some outdoor furniture.No sheets on bunk beds, just fitted lower plus doona.Slipping hazard due to unrestrained pebbles on BBQ stairs.Garbages full on arrival.Owner called his neighbour to help sort out the hot water and spa problems which he assumed we caused. This wasted our valuable time as eventually it became clear it was a job for a tradie.Some taps are loose with one tap having no screw to hold it on the spindle.Continuous leaking tap in one ensuite.The spa cover is so deteriorated that the styrofoam insulation is falling out of it.Some screen doors have been temporarily patched up rather than the screens replaced.All in all the property did not present as advertised. For the price it was a waste of money. However, with a bit of money spent on it it could be quite nice but we wont be back.

Quiet location

We had a great time. It was a great size property for many families in a lovely location. My only negative is the back entertaining area is a concrete jungle and the games room was full of spiders and therefore we didn't utilise this space. There was lots of space to spread out and it was handy having two kitchens.

great house for large groups

Perfect house for extended family group. We were disappointed to find out the morning of our stay that the spa was broken however we still had a great time. Very well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. Basketball, fire pit, ping pong were all well used by our group.

Perfect for large groups

Beautiful grounds which allowed the kids to have freedom to play and explore outside. Home was a great size for 4 families. Hot water wasn’t consistent which made it challenging for shower time. Overall a great stay and would definitely book again.

Private country retreat close to the beach.

Overall excellent experience. Only drawbacks were the kitchen was crowded for such a big group but we managed fine, water pump was noisy in the bedrooms at that end of the house but everyone enjoyed the house and had a great time. There was plenty of space inside inside and out, I would recommend it to large groups.

Enjoyable stay

We loved our stay at Coolaroo House. It is a perfect house for a large family- we had 8 adults and 8children. We had a few hiccups at first but after ringing Ashley, who was very helpful, most of these were fixed up. We visited Berry, Geroa and Gerringong. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for our large group.
