With The Market at Vail just steps away and Safeway and City Market two miles away, you can keep your refrigerator and pantry packed with all the essentials. Ski Tech in Lionshead Village is also conveniently close by for overnight ski and boot storage and rental.

Seven miles west, you'll find Sage Outdoor Adventures ready to offer your family lots of activities like horseback riding, snowmobiling, fishing, and even rafting. With a guided tour through Gore Creek Fly Fisherman, you can have fun learning how to fly fish.

Perfect Family Getaway

Awesome Place!

Stayed in Vail over the 4th of July and couldn’t have been happier with the place! Short walk to the pedestrian bridge over I-70 that put us right in Lionshead. Great pool/hot tub and the condo itself was incredible! In excellent condition with incredible views, would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great condo with a beautiful view!

The condo was so lovely and comfortable. The view of the mountain so beautiful. We loved the open concept for cooking and socializing. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils but lacked plastic ware to put leftovers in. The paper towels and toilet paper would have been better with 2 ply strength and more towels would have been helpful as we all went to the pool daily. We did not realize that there were so many steps to get to the condo and no elevator, but once you were up in the condo it was worth it. Elderly people need to know this before signing on and hopefully no one gets injured on the slope as it would be hard to maneuver those stairs. All in all, we loved the place and had a great vacation.

Comfy condo Vail Lionshead

We had a great time and really enjoyed the place. Easy walk to the Lionshead lifts but find a place to store your skis and boots overnight because the walk is a bit much with heavy gear. I highly recommend Vail Ski Tech for rentals and storage. The condo was great for our group of 6. It is advertised for 8 but in my opinion that would be a little cramped unless half of the group was younger children. The kitchen is excellent with very nice appliances and plates, glasses and the like. The living room is great with a nice TV and fireplace and great views. The bedrooms are very nice. The. master bedroom has a wonderful king bed. The bathrooms are good. One small complaint is that we had exactly 6 bath towels and a few were well worn. A few extra would have been nice. The check in process was good. The instructions to get in the first time were only ok. It took us several tries. Overall this is a highly recommended place to stay for a Vail Ski trip.

Favorite Destination

Snowshoe Lane is one of my favorite destinations on Earth. The spacious and gracious home is exquisitely furnished, decorated and equipped. It is far from being a rental condo with a boring furniture package. This the personal vacation home of owners with taste and judgment. The views are spectacular! All the public rooms, and the bedrooms, have to-die-for views. Additionally, the home is sited in a quiet residential neighborhood. The free-of-charge, frequent-service, on-time Vail bus system is available a few blocks away to whisk one the lifts. What can I say, Vail itself has to be one of the top five ski resorts on the planet. And this is THE place to stay to relish it. Snowshoe Lane is a home for a family. The floor plan and circulation are meticulously thought-out to provide both privacy and comfortable informal family entertaining. There is a state of the art home theater, which is happily separate from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Everyone’s needs can be met simultaneously. It is impossible to imagine that you will have any but the fondest memories of your stay at Snowshoe Lane. Make the stay as long as you possibly can. Settle in and enjoy. It will become your 2nd home. You will come back year after year, and for good reason. Caveat: handicapped accessibility is constrained

Great Stay

I've been coming here with my family for years, and it never disappoints! The condo is a wonderful getaway year-round. In fall, it is nestled right among the changing aspen trees; we enjoy leaf peeping outside on a walk or inside from the many windows. In winter, it is the perfect setting for a ski vacation or a family holiday; the space lends itself to cooking, dining, entertaining, and relaxing, and it is even outfitted with its own Christmas tree. In spring and summer, we soak in the quiet of the off-seasons and the crisp mountain air from the large deck, and we explore the many hiking trails in the area. One of the things we love most about the rental is that it is well-suited for gathering while still providing ample space and privacy. We spend time together on the main level, with plenty of comfortable seating centered around a cozy fireplace and an open floor plan between the kitchen, dining area, and living room. When we want to retreat to our own quarters, the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, well-spaced and roomy, offer an oasis for each of us. My favorite bedroom lets me wake up to mountain views; there is also a large master suite, an additional bedroom, and a lower level bunkroom. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to both Vail Village and Lionshead. One of the stops on the free bus route is just a walk away (short, easy, and downhill on the way from the rental to the stop, and doable but uphill on the way from the stop to the rental). Whether you're looking to cozy up indoors or explore Vail in any season, this is the perfect basecamp for your family's mountain escape.

Perfect stay

This condo was clean and updated and had everything we needed. The spacious living room and dining room were wonderful. Beds were comfortable and showers had great water pressure. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools you’d need if you choose to cook. We would definitely stay at Sun Vail 34D again!
