This charming unit was perfect for our stay on Sanibel. Very cute, Floridian decor and bedding added to the appeal.The furniture and bed were very comfortable.The management staff were very friendly and helpful..My one suggestion would be to provide a bath mat and additional towels.

Very good location, and a functional apartment.

We booked for 4 people, but the apartment is not suitable. The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable! I would not recommend this apartment for 4 people.

Five Stars for C-49

Colony Inn C-49 on Sanibel is an absolute gem and the perfect island escape. The condo is well-lit, spotless, and beautifully decorated, creating an inviting atmosphere from the start. We especially loved relaxing on the lanai with morning coffee and unwinding in the evenings. The nearby beaches are stunning, with excellent shelling and plenty of opportunities for swimming and long, peaceful walks. The on-site swimming pool was a wonderful bonus, adding to the laid-back, resort-style feel of the property. There is so much to see nearby, including the Sanibel Lighthouse, J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, and the Seashell Museum; plus, it's just a quick, easy drive to nearby Captiva Island. Great restaurants and shopping are all within reach, making it incredibly convenient. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this condo truly offers something for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway and will happily return to C-49 soon!
