Welcome to The Quay Retreat. A relaxed, brand new penthouse within the prestigious 'Quay Quarter Lanes,' in the heart of Sydney. This two-bed, two-bathroom apartment offers king beds (with the option to split into singles), a well-equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi and rare free on-site parking. You are steps from all Circular Quay has to offer, including the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Light, comfortable and close to transport, cafés and everything you need for an easy city stay.

Circular Quay is one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront neighbourhoods, the place where the city’s energy meets the harbour’s calm. From early-morning ferries gliding across the water to evenings filled with street performers, restaurants and sparkling harbour views, the area has a constant buzz that feels both exciting and welcoming.

Everything you need is an easy walk away. Wander to the Opera House, explore the historic laneways of The Rocks, or stroll through the peaceful Royal Botanic Garden. The neighbourhood is packed with great cafés, casual eateries, fine-dining options and bars with unbeatable views.

With trains, light rail and ferries all in one spot, Circular Quay is also one of the best-connected areas in Sydney; perfect for guests who want to explore without the hassle. It’s a vibrant, scenic and incredibly convenient base for any stay in the city.

HOUSE RULES:
*Check-in: After 3:00 pm
*Checkout: 10:00 am
*No smoking
*No parties or events
*No pets allowed

ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay.

*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is FOUR people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to TWO people. No more than a maximum of SIX people are allowed in the property at any given time.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This apartment is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.

*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering out the front of the building or in the common areas. Please respect our home and neighbours. We ask for minimal noise in the common areas, especially after 9 pm.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

THINGS TO KNOW:

*Both king beds can be split into 2 singles. Please let us know upon booking if you'd like either bed split.

*Check-in details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

* Parking - There’s one parking spot in the garage. Please note the height clearance is 2.1 metres, so taller vehicles may not fit.
