Violation Penalty: $500 fine and immediate reservation cancellation without refund.

2. Registered Guests Only (Max 10) 🚫 Only guests declared and registered at the time of booking are permitted on the premises. No parties, events, or undeclared gatherings are allowed.

3. House Rules

Quiet Hours: Maintain low noise levels between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Footwear: Kindly remove shoes before entering to keep the new space pristine.

No Pets Policy: To maintain the new condition of the unit, we are unable to host pets.

Damages: Please report issues immediately; damages will result in a deduction from the security deposit.

Lovely property, spacious, comfortable & clean. Great location, with shops & supermarket a short walk away. Excellent public transport with bus stop literally around the corner so our family of seven did not require a car during our 14 day stay. Our hosts were lovely & attentive and dealt with all our requests promptly. Thank you for a great stay!

Our review - 5 senior ladies; 2 senior men attending family Celebration of Life for family member in area - we agreed - overall nice place to stay.Pros: Location, Modern, Perfect for 7 adults - Seemed to a safe area and we walked to grocery shop and dine. Close to airport and venue. Very clean, comfortable beds, individual room thermostats.Cons: NO AIR CONDITIONING. ALL needed face cloths for bathing--none provided. Only 1 bath and 1 hand towel provided for ea guest; 1 dish cloth; 1 dish towel--no extras. 100% of ladies said they needed an additional bath towel; some would prefer more plush towels. Kitchen area small for dining/cooking with 7 adults in room at same time. Complicated recycling system - we all tried our best. Not as advertised - we didn't know we were placed in unit #3 with back alley entrance ONLY...at first we felt unsafe.

We are sorry that some aspects of your stay did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding air conditioning, our listing clearly states that the property does not have A/C. As Vancouver typically enjoys a mild climate, we provide fans in the home for guest comfort during warmer days. Thank you as well for your comments regarding towels and kitchen supplies. We recently discontinued face cloths after repeated issues with heavy staining and damage, as they were often used for purposes other than personal care. However, we understand that some guests prefer having them available, and we appreciate this feedback. Our standard setup includes one bath towel and one hand towel per registered guest, with additional towels available upon request. We regret that we were not aware your group needed extra towels, as we would have been happy to provide them immediately. We also appreciate your suggestions regarding additional dishcloths and kitchen towels, and we will review our inventory setup to better accommodate larger groups. Regarding the entrance, Unit 3 is accessed via the laneway entrance as shown in the listing photos and description. We are sorry to hear that the arrival experience initially felt unfamiliar. Fortunately, Dunbar is one of Vancouver’s safest residential neighborhoods, and many guests enjoy walking to nearby shops, restaurants, and grocery stores during their stay. Thank you again for sharing your experience. Guest feedback helps us continue improving, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for an even better stay.
