The Greenview is set in the picturesque village of Millthorpe, home to an immaculate food scene, wine culture, and boutique shopping experiences.



Millthorpe's coffee and brunch culture is enlivened with Millthorpe Providore and the Old Mill Cafe & Restaurant (both 2 min drive away). Tonic Restaurant (2 min) is an exquisite hatted dining institution, celebrated for its locally-sourced ingredients and the expertise of its highly-experienced chefs. The Millthorpe Hotel is a heritage-listed pub providing the Millthorpe village with classic pub meals and cold beverages in a casual setting. The region boasts three cellar doors in the centre of town — Angullong Wines, Tamburlaine Millthorpe Cellar Door, and Slow Wine Co.



At the Golden Memories Museum, discover a complex of heritage buildings storing historical objects of Millthorpe. It is classified by the National Trust and, because it is not on a main thoroughfare, it has managed to avoid being overdeveloped and has retained its 19th century charm. It is a village held in historic aspic with its cobbled, bluestone-bordered streets juxtaposed against a sense of modernity contained in its quality restaurants, galleries, and craft shops. It has found a balance between 21st century sophistication and 19th century gracefulness. Not surprisingly, it has attracted city dwellers and artists seeking an escape to a quieter and more sedate rural lifestyle, while still enjoying good coffee, good food, and the attractions which a large city can offer.
