Downstairs - The Heart of the Home The open-plan living area is where you’ll gather after a day of exploring. Sink into the sofas by the wood fire, share meals in the spacious dining area, and enjoy cooking together in the fully-equipped kitchen with a gas cooktop and dishwasher. Large glass doors open directly onto the outdoor entertainer’s area, where you can enjoy a morning coffee on the patio while taking in the views of the vibrant gardens.

Upstairs - Your Private Sanctuaries Head upstairs to find four versatile rooms waiting for you. The master suite is a true hideaway, featuring a king bed, a walk-in robe, an ensuite, and your own private deck—the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening wine as you watch the sun set over the pool and gardens, with the magnificent silhouette of Mount Buffalo in the distance. You’ll also find two additional queen bedrooms, one with a set of single bunk beds, both with built-in storage, and a fourth area that’s perfect as a kids’ playroom or a quiet home office. A second lounge or rumpus room upstairs gives your group even more space to relax.

Outdoors - Swim, Soak, and Unwind The private, solar-heated inground pool is the star of the show during the warmer months. It’s the perfect place for a refreshing dip on a hot summer day. Surrounded by lush gardens, the pool area feels like your own personal resort. (Please note the pool is seasonal and only warm during spring and summer).
You’re perfectly positioned to enjoy the tranquility of the valley with fantastic attractions right at your doorstep.

For the Foodies: Take a leisurely 15-minute stroll down the road to the iconic Happy Valley Hotel for a classic pub meal. In just 5 minutes, you can be in Myrtleford, or 15 minutes in Bright, where you’ll find a vibrant scene of breweries, wineries, and cafes to discover.

Get Outside: The beautiful Ovens River is just a short walk away—ideal for a picnic, a spot of fishing, or a refreshing swim. You are also moments from the famous Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail, perfect for a morning bike ride or walk.

Scenic Drives: We’re located on a gorgeous scenic back road, giving you easy access to the historic gold-rush towns of Yackandandah and Beechworth, or a direct route through to Wodonga.

Year-Round Fun: Use us as your base for summer hiking, autumn leaf-chasing, spring festivals, or winter skiing at Mount Buffalo or Falls Creek, both an easy drive away.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
To make sure your stay is as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we appreciate you taking a moment to read the following:

Minimum Stay: We have a two-night minimum stay, upto 8 guests, which increases to three nights on public holidays and during busy periods.

Our Furry Friends: We know pets are part of the family, however this property is not fenced and to ensure a pristine and allergy-free environment for all our guests, we have a strict no-pets policy. We thank you for your understanding.

Pool Seasonality: The pool is solar-heated, which means its temperature depends entirely on sunshine and warm weather. It offers a refreshing swim rather than a heated experience where temperature can be adjusted to preference. Please note that the pool is open for use only during the warmer months, generally from early November through the end of April.
However, we want to clarify that due to local climate conditions, the pool can become quite cold even as early as April, and therefore we cannot guarantee a comfortable swimming temperature at that time. Consequently, the pool is closed from the end of April until the beginning of November to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Peace & Quiet: Our home is in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood. To be respectful of our wonderful neighbours, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm. The property is not suitable for parties or events.

No Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking property, both inside and out.

Parking: Please note the garage is not available for guest use, but there is ample off-street parking available.
