Welcome to your retreat. This beautiful modern cabin sits directly on one of the most sought-after private community coves on Lake Lure (reopening soon!). Amenities include an oversized screen porch w/ propane fire pit and ping pong table, a hot tub and Solo Stove fire pit, a covered outdoor area with swings and outdoor daybed swing, a huge, comfy living room, a stocked kitchen with popcorn and coffee, & a bonus room w/ foosball table. When the weather is warm, you can take out the house kayaks!

The space
The Lake Lure area is conveniently situated for outdoor adventure, including horseback riding, tubing, water sports, hiking; museums and theater, shopping and restaurants, and so much more! It is the perfect location to create lifetime memories with you and your loved ones!

Bedrooms:
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite on the main level and has a king bed
Bedroom #2-is downstairs and has a queen bed
Bedroom #3-is downstairs and has 2 bunk beds (4 total twin beds)

*The living room has a CordaRoy which converts to a queen sleeper*

Bathrooms:
-(1) full bathroom on the main level in the primary suite and (1) full bathroom downstairs

Kitchen: Stocked with all the essentials

Screened-In Porch:
- Equipped with dining table, outdoor sectional, propane fire pit, and a ping-pong table.

Grills:
- We have a propane grill available for you on the front porch and a charcoal grill by the
hot tub! Propane is provided. Charcoal is not.

Downstairs:
-Has a game room with a foosball table & boardgames! The downstairs has doors that
lead you to the deck & hot tub.

Pet Policy:
- Maximum: 2 pets.
- Fees: $50 for each pet.

Nature Disclaimer:
- Routine pest control is performed, but sightings of insects and other wildlife can occur since we are in a wooded area close to water.

Lake Disclaimer:
- Due to Hurricane Helene, Lake Lure is not currently open but is announced to be re-opened around May 2026!


Wifi Notice:
Lake Lure is in a mountain setting with wifi service that is typically very good, but it can sometimes be slow or temporarily go out. During storms there may also be power outages and internet disruptions, though the power company provides restoration timeframes. While we hope neither of these things will impact your stay, we want to keep you informed just in case!

This house is close to some of the best things the North Carolina mountains have to offer.

Estimated Distances from Home:
- 28 miles to the Biltmore Estate -27 miles to the Botanical Gardens at Asheville
- 26 miles to the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville & to the Folk Art Center
- 10 minutes from Bat Cave
- 35 minutes from Hendersonville
- 50 minutes from Asheville
- 2 hours from Charlotte, North Carolina
-Also nearby are Pisgah National Forest (less than 1 hour from Lake Lure), which has over 500,000 acres of protected forest, and DuPont State Recreational Forest (1.25 hours from Lake Lure) with over 10,000 acres. These forests feature hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, horse trails, exquisite waterfalls, and beautiful mountaintop views.
If you and/or your children are fans of The Hunger Games book and movie, a scene with Katniss and Gale was shot at the Pisgah National Forest. A few small but significant scenes were also filmed at the DuPont State Recreational Forest.

Guest access
You will have full, private access of the entire property and shared access to the semi-private cove (shared among the 12 home owners in the neighborhood and their guests, only)

Other things to note:
The beautiful Chimney Rock State Park and mountain trails are open, and the quaint, riverside town of Chimney Rock is welcoming visitors to its many shops and restaurants. The lake will be open for boating and swimming in late spring 2026!

Firewood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor Solo Stove can be purchased very nearby at the grocery store, Ingles.

**Shipping to the house is not guaranteed, since the home is not a primary residence, mail is forwarded.

NATURE NOTE:
Being surrounded by the woods means you’re truly one with nature! While we do have regular pest control, you may still encounter a few adventurous insects.

We are happy to accommodate early check in & late check out's for $20 an hour when possible, if agreed upon before your stay begins. Unprohibited early check ins and late check outs are not allowed, so please be sure to check out on time to avoid a fee.
