COMFORTABLE MOUNTAIN CABIN WITH VIEWS OF SOLITUDE RESORT'S SLOPES & HONEYCOMB CNYN - 3 min. to Solitude, 2.5 miles to Brighton. Utah's best backcountry skiing right out your back door & world class skiing at Solitude and Brighton within 3 min from house.

Soak in the tub under an aspen trees, or sauna after a day in the powder. Watch movies next to the wood burning stove. All necessary amenities - ideal for up to ten people looking for a real, mountain ski experience.

The space
Three comfortable bedrooms. Fully Furnished. Amazing views, sauna, wood burning stove, sleeps 6 to 8 comfortably - 10 maximum.

The house is surrounded by acres of undisturbed aspen groves & incredible mountain views of Solitude Resort. 3 minute drive to Solitude Resort - 7 minutes to Brighton Resort.

Decks with views of Solitude Resort & Surrounding Mountains from the living room and bedrooms.

Comfortable King Size Bed in master with private balcony.
Cozy queen in second upstairs bedroom.
Basement bedroom has a queen/full bunk and twin/twin trundle. There are also air mattresses.
6 to 8 comfortably. Sleeps a maximum of 10 people.

Kitchen is complete with, dishwasher, range, microwave, disposal, side-by-side fridge with ice/water in the door. Master-suite is expansive with private deck and majestic views of Solitude Resort.

Wood burning fireplace add to this mountain getaways appeal.

House includes high speed Internet and 70" TV.

- To book this house during the winter season you must have all wheel or 4 wheel drive SUV!
- There are 50 stairs in covered walkway leading from the garage to the house. Do not rent this house if you have a problem with stairs
- 35 Minute Drive from Salt Lake City Airport
- .5 mile from Solitude Resort with views of the slopes from the decks
- 2.5 miles from Brighton Resort

Other things to note
The house has a covered walkway from the garage to the front door of the house. The walkway is an uphill climb with 50 + stairs. Guests must take these stairs into consideration, and must be in adequate physical condition (considering the stairs) in order to rent this house. Do not rent this house if you have a problem with the stairs.

You must have a four wheel drive in order to rent this house and you must be comfortable driving on winter roads.

In the summer there is a second driveway that leads directly to the cabin. It is not required to take the 50+ stairs the summer months.

Cabin was cozy and accurate to the pictures. Hot tub water was sketchy so we couldn’t use the hot tub which was a bummer but the sauna was beyond excellent and super high quality. The amount of steps from the garage to the house was intense for my brother who has MS but we made it work. Would have been good to have all the steps to the house from the garage advertised or shown in the pictures. Location to the ski resorts was excellent. Beds were great. Great spot overall.

Midweek Ski Vacay

We had a GREAT time at this lovely cabin. Retro vibes with all the essentials, including views of the mountains and a hot tub. While the kitchen was a bit dated, it functions appropriately and 6 of us were able to cook all of our meals without any issues. We would definitely stay again. Oh, and don't sleep on the vinyl collection...some gems are hidden in there. Thanks for an awesome trip!

Friends Ski Week

The property was great. Parking was tough with a truck in the winter (hard to turn around and didn't fit in the garage). The house itself was very nice with all necessary cooking utensils. The living room was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. The view into the canyon through the trees was incredible no matter which level of the house you were on. The location was great as the house is located very close to both Brighton and Solitude resorts.

Local Cabin/House for a ski getaway

Great place to stay if you are skiing at Brighton or Solitude. Only 2 minute drive to Solitude and 5 minutes to Brighton. We loved the place. Well stocked kitchen to prepare your own meals, cozy hot tub to soak after a long day of skiing, and very comfortable atmosphere for chillin in the evening. Plenty of beds to sleep 9 people, although we only had 7. Mack and Brandon were super receptive in their communication. We had no issues with the house! The description was spot on, there are a lot of stairs (I think 52 to be exact) from the lower garage to the elevated home. Also reinforcing, you do need 4-wheeled drive to get to the house in the winter. Thanks again!

Perfect Location for Skiers If you're a skier heading to Big Cottonwood Canyon, this property's location is a game-changer! Being just minutes from Solitude and Brighton resorts made our trip incredible. During our stay, a big storm dumped about 12 inches of fresh powder, and the drive home turned into a slow crawl (traffic inching along at 4 mph on the way back). It was so nice not to have to drive all the way to the valley. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped for winter. The heating system worked fantastically, keeping everything toasty even on the coldest nights. The hot tub was piping hot and the perfect way to unwind after a full day on the slopes.Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting convenience, comfort, and easy access to epic skiing!

Fun mountain home

This is a very fun house to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything is clean and functions properly. The kitchen and living area are great for gathering and listening to music. The hosts are communicative and helpful. Thank you!

Just what you need for some true R&R

This property had everything that we could have asked for and a vacation rental. The hot tub made for an extra little winter fun and relaxation. Being so close to the ski resorts and two fun cities, this was one of the best rentals we have ever experienced. Everything is as advertised and then some.

Great house near the slopes

This property might not be the updated modern luxury condo/house but it has way more to offer. Great views, 10 minutes max to the slopes, KILLER VINYL COLLECTION!!! Awesome place and we had a great time. Please read the fact that there are a lot of stairs. If you cannot handle that then this may not be the place for you. Other than that is was clean, comfortable and a great place to hang out after a day on the mountain.

Great Vibes

We loved staying here, the house had everything we needed. The living room was cozy with the wood burning fire place. It was easy to get to the resorts, there is a bus stop right near the Inn on the main road. Easy to get to and from Brighton or Solitude with out driving. The hot tub was a little small but that was fine. The hosts were very communicative. Beware of the road in the winter, it can be slick to get up . Our cars needed to be AWD/4WD with snow tires, but that was clearly communicated to us before the stay.

Amazing cozy and homey cabin

6 of us had a great time overall in this cozy cabin filled with plants, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of space to spread out. We really appreciated the full, well stocked kitchen and indoor sauna and attached hot tub. The location was super convenient for Brighton and Solitude resorts as well. Extra special touches for snow sports enthusiasts was a great additional touch. The hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout.

Great mountain cabin with a sauna and a hot tub

We had the best time celebrating New Years Eve at the house. Originally we booked the house for 5 nights but right after we arrived we extended our stay for 2 more nights. The owner of the house Mack, is an awesome host and super easy to communicate with. The cabin has everything you need and even more. After skiing we enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub. The house comfortably fits 10 adults. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There are stairs from the garage to the cabin, but we had no problem with that. Also the cabin is much!!! nicer in reality than on pictures. We were really surprised! We will definitely go back next year.

Right out of a Hallmark Movie

This sweet cozy cabin felt like we were in a Hallmark movie, from the cute tree with lights and ornaments that the owners put in for us to make our Christmas feel like Christmas, to the fireplace, the amazing views and the hot tub on the deck overlooking the mountain peaks. It truly was a grand experience for us!! We would absolutley recommend staying in this cabin!!
