Aspectos negativos: Llegada y comunicación
I was spoken to very rudely when I rang to tell him we were at the house. He answered the phone with, "What do you want?" When I said who it was and I was at the house he seemed confused about the fact I'd even booked and blamed the confusing app for the issues, as well as the fact he gets lots of nuisance spam calls. They came to the house to give us the keys and while they finished cleaning we went to the supermarket. The house was okay but looks better in the photos. After a 10 hour drive we were looking forward to a great sleep. From the time darkness set in a neighbour's dog barked and barked and barked. Finally at 5am I was so angry that I went outside and yelled to "Shut up!" As soon as I did that, the barking stopped within minutes. How can someone have a barking and obviously stressed dog bark in their backyard and do nothing about it until someone finally cracks it?! To top it all off, probably because of my outburst, the plug was stolen from our trailer overnight. I asked the host to check the cameras but he didn't even bother getting back to me. Clearly the cameras are for show only. Lovely little neighbourhood NOT! I wasn't going to write a review but I have absolutely NO idea how this house/host has such a high review score. Will not be going back to Dubbo, let alone this host/house. Hope you all have a lot better luck than we did.
